Great interview. A wonderful lady, a very kind, beautiful performer. Annie came to Hatfield Poly when I was studying and working on the campus radio station. We sent a very nervous interviewer to meet with her and Dave Stewart. He froze, but she was so compassionate and interviewed herself, rescuing our poor DJ.
Hi Annie, I hope you read this.I was born in 1954, and am a visual artist. I feel that you have reached the pinnacle of your art with your Cape Town performance of "Here Comes the Rain Again". I really feel connected with your feelings and emotions in this performance. Thank you Annie.
@Ann Lennox I love you so much Ann. Your contribution to art and meaning and human emotions is stellar. I am so grateful that you messaged me. So grateful!
I have adored Annie since I first heard and saw her in the early 80's. I don't take many people to my heart but Annie reigns there for a million reasons.
Oh no,its a skavlan!hahaha she still is the coolest artist around! The most passionate, compassionate, kind, gifted and charismatic soul!I'm thrilled that Annie is finally happy with someone..She deserves happiness and peacefullness!!Great show!Greetings from Greece!
I've been a fan ever since 1979 when she was fronting The Tourists, singing I Only Wanna Be With You. Many hits since then of course, both with The Eurythmics and solo. My favourites are Miracle Of Love, Why and No More I Love Yous. And she has a beautiful smile and accent.
She is both so beautiful inside & out! She was always one of my favorites,& the best female singer of all time, but what a humble, kind caring, "Star;" she's so un effected by her fame,& just out to help others! What a beautiful soul! 💜💜💜U always, Ms. Annie Lennox, my hero! I'm going through devastating back issues (32 yrs, more than 1/2 my life) that are robbing me of my ability to walk ,& I'm in tormenting pain, with no help, pain management crisis,& feel very suicidal, but listening to Annie's music has saved me recently,so I hope u read this,Annie,& I thank U,4 saving me in so many ways through your beautiful music,& watching your interviews are an inspiration beyond compare! God Bless U & Your's,always,& I'm truly happy U found love again! With much Love, appreciation,& deep respect, always,💜💜💜💕U,Leigh💕 Annie:🎁2the🌎💛☀️💕🌟🙏💜
I love her voice, singing or speaking. Her song "Why?" is haunting. "Let's go down to the water's edge, we can cast away those doubts, some things are better left unsaid, but they still turn me inside out". When I saw her cradling her stillborn child it broke my heart. God love her forever XX.
Must have been at least 3 or 4 times that he interrupted just as Annie was about to arrive at some key idea. How strange. I kept hoping she'd stand her ground.
I had no idea she had lost a child.I can never understand why people make such a fuss about people such as Annie or other successful or talented artists being so humble.I wouldn't expect anything less quite frankly. To live your life in any way that does not include humility would be a foolish way to live and for their own sanity and happiness humility would be the wisest choice.
Upenda Sana: I agree, but they don't make "stars" like Annie; she's just so down to earth & her gratitude is awe inspiring! Watch her after every performance; it's like she's shocked by people's love of her,& she's so moved & genuinely💜s her fans! Kind of like Mariah used to be,till fame went to her head but not Annie! 💜
I thought the interviewer (who I normally really like) a bit rude during this interview. Interrupting a little too much and somehow disrespectful. Just my interpretation of course.

I absolutely love her talent and wisdom. Also liked the interviewer until he bluntly asked her about her personal life.

And by the way, is there anyone you ever felt afraid of?
