A very nice overview! Hoping to pick up the new Dual Rectofire and their other modules; only have Spark currently. Here's hoping Mercuriall add Spark to Ampbox at some point. Cheers
Thank you! Spark would be a great addition I concur. I really want to check out the Dual Rectofire too! Hope it sounds great for you. Cheers and thanks for dropping by.
Hello...I tried this plugin in Reaper and I don't know why apart from the sound I get from the plugin I also hear the DI signal of the guitar, is it because it's a beta version, or am I doing something wrong?
That should not ideally happen as the trail version should also give you proper sound. Do you have the monitor (audition) turned on by any chance on any other track by accident? I also don't know much about reaper but may be post your question in the user forums perhaps? Cheers.
@@GurtejSinghGuitar Thanks for the info...Probably I'm not doing something right in Reaper...btw, plugin sounds great! Keep up the good work, all the best!
@@mladen1982 I encountered this when I first got into plugins. I was using a Focusrite Scarlett in Windows and the issue was I didn't have the audio settings for the interface right in the plugin. I suggest making sure you have your audio settings correct for the interface you are using.
Hey man. Your video is really helpful to get the idea of guitar tone . Just wondering could you plz give me some idea like how I can get a nice stereo rock or metal guitar solo tone using garageband. At the moment I am using garageband. I feel like this DAW is good to make nice tone. It's ok like beginner like me but if you could plz give me some more depth idea of making nice stereo rock guitar solo tone that would be great. I mean I want to know the details of making the rock tone. Like what kinds of DAW , I should use , whT sorts of guitar plug in , and what would be my supply chain in plug in. I mean I have heard some of your rock guitar solo tone here in this video. I want to make like this. Could plz help me to make tone like this plz.
Thanks for your comment and feedback man. Appreciate it. I haven't tried Garage band as such, but there are plenty of free plugins / VST's available which can be used with GarageBand to create nice tone. For example, have you tried Guitar Rig? They have a lot of free presets which come along with the plugin and it's free to use for 30 mins. A good solo tone usually consists of a good amount of overdrive, fairly good amounts of mids and delay and reverb. But it totally depends on setup and gear, I would recommend you to explore some of these plugins and check out how some of the stock presets are made. A VST can be used with any DAW so you should be good. As far as signal chain is concerned, I would recommend going through an external soundcard, so you get the least latency. There are plenty of good ones out there, I am not sure if you are already using one. Hope this helps, try out Guitar Rig 5/6, they are both fairly good, and before you try to dial in your own tone, try many of the stock presets to see if they help. After trying, if you need further help, please let me know. Cheers!
Man, Reaxis with your JP is an amazing tone
Thanks bro! I loved the way it sounds with the triaxis! You should probably try it with the Majesty too!

Grateful from Lagos Nigeria
Thank you!
Great demo, there’s something for everybody here. 😊
Thanks Jim! Yes, quite a lot of tonal variance here :)
Question - I see the JP15 in the vid. What is the rest of your signal chain here? Thanks!
From the JP15, I am going directly into my MOTU M4 soundcard which is connected directly to my computer. Hope this helps. Cheers!
How does the software connect to an existing amp, is it Bluetoothed from your PC to a physical amp?
You do not need an existing amp to connect to. The amp sound is simulated through the plugin itself. Hope this helps!

where can i download the presets?
As of now, the custom presets I created are not part of the plugin, I go through them in detail in the video and you can recreate them along with me.
