    Duran destroys the myth that a boxer has to dance to be able to keep their wits about them as they get older. A master like Duran knew how to soften the impact, check, smother and roll with the punches while delivering a ton of firepower as well.

    If you get out of bad habits like bending your leg when throwing your power increases massively plus your planted in case of a shot coming in!
    It’s hard and better learning as a kid but it’s mastering the basics that makes champions!

      What? Dude when you squat low and come up it generates more power

    • @Jpliers
      @Jpliers Рік тому

      @@RealJeremias I’m not talking about squatting and then punching if you watch the guys leg when he hits the bag his leg wasn’t snapping straight and that’s why he kept telling him no!
      The power is generated from the back leg straight through to your fist and when you make contact with the target everything has to be stiff within a split second to generate max power!

      The bending of the knees transfer weight to the other leg as your hips goes in that power direction.

    siempre veo el mismo fallo en muchos boxeadores de la actualidad mueven la pierna a la vez que el brazo y pierden fuerza el cuerpo ha de ir como un bloque que gira junto por el impulso de la cintura y la fuerza se siente a arriba. Duran un crack

    Duran is a master at bag and inside fighting. Even Mosely after so many years was learning how to grapple on the inside from Duran. Those techniques came from the great Arcel We could just i.agine what Mosely could have done if he had an Arcel in his corner Duran was one champion and in my opinion the #1 Latino fighter to ever lace them up

      @Iamrjayhd not only that , Duran was explaining head and body placement. I dont think Regis understand. Its one thing to be able to deliver a great punch, but its another thing to understand the sweet science ... thats why i always favor classic boxers over people that have knock out power. Same reason i fa vor devin over Regis . I like both brothers, but Devin is the more technically sound fighter

    Lo que el gran Roberto Durán está tratando de enseñar es después de jabear se mueve el pie derecho para ampliar la base y permitir un giro completo de las caderas y la cintura sin girar el pie de atrás.
    Esto da también la ventaja de esquivar un golpe simultáneamente.
    En el kung fu Jow Pai se hace exactamente igual, se parte de una posición de perfil y después del golpe de la mano adelantada se mueve lateralmente el pie atrasado y se gira la cadera por completo al golpear con la mano atrasada.
    ¡Grande Durán! Adelantado a su tiempo.
    Porque la diferencia en la potencia del golpe es bastante grande. ¡Increible donde vine a ver una aplicación de verdad práctica!
