have a problem with a HXL 6 Blackmer pump, the liquid source is located around the 100 mts, when the pump is working and the liquid level in the tank decrease, in this moment the noise and vibrations increase. You are right, the Max Hold was turned on when we were recording the pump without the Cavitation Suppression Liner. The reason we did this was because the decibel level was bouncing around extremely rapidly making it difficult to read the screen, and this wouldn’t show up well on the video. The Max Hold functionality stores the maximum reading during the time sequence that was recorded, which was 106 dBa when we were running the pump. That is also why we left the audio on, so that viewers could hear the difference as well.

Funny the the decibel reading on the left was in MAX HOLD meaning it wasnt being recorded, it was just one max number from a recording of sound level.

Looked like the vanes were actually bouncing at the 6 o'clock position. Would severely effect noise and efficiency. Very interesting.
