a level 12 PEKKA will die, i repeat, will die from a level 13 Golem beatdown push after her killing the Golem on your side of the map. imagine if your PEKKA is lower leveled. max her first. then you would max Bandit as she's one of the core of the deck. you need every single health of her to defend and attack. you don't want your Bandit died from defending, you want her to stay with a little bit of health to counter push. Ghost, same as Bandit. He's one of the core of the deck.
Notice how in the first match he only took damage when egiant was pulled out, this says a lot about society.

you can swap Ghost with Dark Prince and swap Magic Archer with Minions. please note that Marcher have different role than Minions.
