- Watch a full American Idol Experience show with a surprise appearance by the 2010 American Idol, Lee DeWyze, at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Lee visited the first taping of the day on May 31, 2010. After the show, Orlando Attractions Magazine kid reporter Mindy Strater interviews the winner. Unfortunately the winner of this show didn't go on to win the Dream Ticket in the final show that day.

Now that Disney officially owns *American Idol*, I wish they would re-open this attraction. I loved this show!
They don't. They own ABC/Fox but the Idol Franchise remains intellectual property of Fremantle Media which Disney does not own. They are just licensing the IP

They shouldn't closed down american idol experience at Disney hollywood studios, that's too early to closed down, it should stay for another 20 years because I want it to go there.
That is so AWESOME that Lee got to be apart of the American Idol Experience!! Very cool. I want to go to the Hollywood studios soon & be on the show!! :)
@LuvCookie31 The contestants are real, the audiences are real (and their reactions), the judge panel is real. If you're getting a feeling of something being staged it's because they practice before the show starts because they do have to have it done within a certain time frame as they have multiple showings of it within the open hours of the park all the way until the winners of each show make it to the finals and hopefully win the golden ticket.

For those of you have just heard, the "American Idol Experience" has finally coming to an end after almost 5 years. The last day of the performance was last night. I would like to see the final show of "American Idol Experience" in its entirety ASAP. Too bad, Caleb Johnson would've been visiting the "American Idol Experience" at a motorcade parade. What a sad way to see it go. Caleb Johnson would've visit there, but it's too late. Sorry! All I got to say this in the mortal words of Porky Pig "Th-th-th that's all folks!"

I went with my senior trip and me and 3 other friends auditioned and got in together. 2 of them weren't 18, me and the other friend were. We acted as their "guardians". You'll be fine as long as you go with someone over 18.
I was in the audience, and I remember having trouble deciding between #2 and #3.

And then, two years, the TV show "American Idol" has finally ended after 15 years. Trent Harmon is the winner and he will never be at the "American Idol Experience", because it was closed two years ago to make way for a "Frozen" like attraction. Ryan Seacrest says his final words at the end of the series finale it goes like this:
"Seacrest, "We have such incredible talent on this show like that, whether the stars we created, or the judges behind the desk. The real reason our lives have changed forever, is you, at home. We know that, we appreciate that, and one more time, this is so tough. We say to you from Hollywood, good night America.... For now."

I don't know why people are ragging on the performers, okay so the first and the third one are pretty bad, but the second one was pretty amazing

@LuvCookie31 except for the visit from Lee, this is exactly what the attraction is like. Though it feels slightly grander (as far as the stage, lights, and sound). But of course there is the slight element of cheese. It is a Disney attraction after all.

@funnnnny45 lee CAN sing!if he couldnt sing,he wouldnt have made it as far as he did now would he? think bout it. hes got raw talent,and his awesome fans to support him of course! lee totally deserved his win. he did an awesome job! im sure they will both do just fine.

Hi just went there. It follows the same process it just changes what the winner gets. If you're good enough you could follow what the AI winners get. But you will need to hit the bulls eye.

@LuvCookie31 I performed last year in feb. 2010 I was just a visitor, and made it to the last show... Its was real, and a blast... I posted some clips... No Lee at my show tho...

The only things that ARE fake Ryan Seacrest did tape the parts but isn't in the live show and different judges but it follows the same layout-you are getting the kodak theater experience-if you can't afford the real show go to this one will not be disappointed

Ha ha I always loved the attraction not because it was good.....ha ha it sucked but because it made the lines smaller in the park. I cant imagine paying for a ticket and spending the whole day on this mini production. That's usually why it was locals from orlando because they had annual passes and it didnt waste their day. The real American idol is faked anyways. Talent Agencies put in contestants that dont even wait in line, those are usually the winners of idol. It's all predetermined if you watch the reruns it shows winners got extra time.on camera and interviews.
