Uber is taking 60%-70% of what you pay as a rider, leaving the driver with only pennies per mile. If you can’t tip a good driver with a clean car, take a freaking bus!
Having anybody in your car for over 15 minutes is rarely worth it,maybe only if it's crazy busy and the payout is huge.Right now is the start of the dead summer season doing this with more drivers as teachers are also doing this and the best option is to not do this anymore and figure out another way to make money,option two is just stick to short trips driving rich tourists around who will tip,seriously,those are the options,you do anything else expect to make no money as rideshare payouts will be trash for four months.
@@schaef6o I don't work for Uber, no driver does. Anyone who picks you up when you order a ride is an Independent Contractor. Some people are more picky than others. The real question is why would anyone support a company which takes 70% of the fare? It's 2024 and this is pretty common knowledge at this point. There are plenty of independent transportation companies out there who will deliver a clean and safe ride.
Instead of following the app, why would you not just follow the signs so you know where to drop off the passenger? You just need to ask them what company they're flying with
Tampa international airport is one of the easiest airports to get around there's literally only to pick up and drop off points. So if you got lost going to there that means you can't read signs because it's clearly posted where drop-offs and arrivals are.
I love the Tampa airport it’s so easy to navigate inside. Last time I took a Uber home it made me walk to the express exit not the regular arrivals baggage claim exit. But it was pretty simple to get there.
In London uk cos about 15 -16 dollar / day to drive in . Plus if your car is not eletric etc... that will be another 15 dollar / day. Plus airport drop off free 7 dollar Plus tunel and bridge fees about 5 dolla 1 way. Shocker
Driving for Uber is a junk gig. Any 1099 gig and using your own vehicle is no good, that is why they exist. Better off leasing a cab over using your own car. Well better off working at McDonald’s. Also imagine a time driving to the airport without a Uber app or gps, trust me it wasn’t that long ago. TIA is a smooth easy airport try Orlando or Miami, nightmare compared to Tampa. Additionally, the airport can often be crowded and hectic, adding to the confusion and making it even more challenging to navigate. I remember when my father was dropping me off at the Southwest terminal, he would get lost easily and it would take us a while to find the right gate.

I recently did a trip from Davenport to Tampa international airport it cost me 86.57 + 10.00 booking fee + 8 reservation fee . 104.57 for an hour ride 64 miles at 4 am.. plus $25 tip for being at my door at 3:50 am. So how much would make of my ride before the tip ?
