With enough space for five adults and a trunk volume of 513 liters, the New Tucson is extremely comfortable and spacious. The wide-opening panoramic glass sunroof makes it even more spacious. The variable cargo space is easy to adjust: In seconds, the rear seats can be folded in a ratio of 60:40 and thus increase the trunk volume to 1'503 liters.
The Hyundai Tucson is a crucial car for Hyundai - its entrant into the hotly fought family crossover class, its rival to the likes of the Nissan Qashqai, Seat Ateca and Ford Kuga. Fortunately for Hyundai, the Tucson is a really well-executed all-rounder that’s pleasant to be in, easy-going to drive and offers a more painless ownership proposition than most - if not all - of its rivals. It’s not a car you’ll ever get up early on a Sunday morning to drive, but its fundamental rightness means the other six days will pass pretty painlessly. We ran a long-term 2.0 CRDi model for six months and it was peerlessly reliable and extremely practical.
For its 2018 facelift, Hyundai recognised there was very little it needed to change, so focused chiefly on smartening up the Tucson’s appearance and making it more futureproof and economical. That’s why you’ve now got the option of all-LED lights to bisect that Audi-in-a-hall-of-mirrors front grille, trick LED tail lights, and a refreshed cabin with a standalone touchscreen this time, so the rest of the dashboard settles lower down and increases the perception of space. Not that the boxy Tucson wants for interior accommodation.
Tech-wise, the headline is a new 48-volt mild hybrid diesel powertrain. It’s only available on the most powerful diesel: a 183bhp 2.0-litre unit allied to the eight-speed automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, Hyundai’s raging against the dying eddying of diesel with 113bhp and 134bhp 1.6-litre diesels which both use extensive exhaust clean-up tech to comply with all current and impending particulate emissions testing.
If you’d prefer a petrol, Hyundai’s got normally aspirated and turbocharged 1.6-litre units and they’re now a cross-range possibility, so you can twin them with toppier trim levels.
The base trim level is Tucson S, which kicks the pricing off at £21,845 for a 1.6-litre non-turbo petrol with front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox. You bag a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple and Android mirroring as standard, plus Bluetooth, a back-up camera, 16-inch alloys and foglights.
From there on up, it’s the usual Hyundai steps from SE Nav and Premium trim into the top-grade Premium SE, where you’ll find LED lights all round, radar cruise control, a glass roof and 360-degree camera parking aids. Up front is a heated steering wheel, and out back is a (very slow) powered tailgate. It’s not wanting for kit, the top-spec Tucson, and you’d have to spec an Audi Q5 close to £50k to watch it. And even then, no other rival save for Kia is going to match a five-year warranty.

I bought a lovely looking one,pity no one told me about engine problems,filter problems etc,u would need ur own gas station to run it,mechanics at 3 garages said they give so much trouble, most garages won't even take them in a trade in

Mi-am luat chiar ieri un Tucson 2WD de 132hp. Merge foarte frumos si e super silentios.. Ce mi se pare, ca nu are un demaraj prea grozav si ma asteptam la asta iar consumul de benzina este māricel, cam 11l/100km in oras. Materialele sunt buna calitate iar displayul foarte responsively. Pentru un pret de 19740 € tva inclus, este un SUV perfect la un pret corect!
Da pretul este mult sub concurenta si are si o calitate foarte buna a materialelor. Masina este grea si probabil este noua si daia consuma mai mult. Poate dupa 10.000km sa consume mai putin. Sa o stapanesti sanatos.👍👍

Hey Youssef , the car have very good handlings for a SUV, i didnt drive it more then 100km/h but my experience was very good. It is great. Maybe not like an Audi or Mercedes but it is good. 🙏👍

Kona Electric have 200 hp but a better acceleration, i can say yes. Kona EV much better. 👍

4wd kind of full option.

Guys i have a question.. my tucson 2019 when engine is started, i must just very gently press the acceleration petal for some meters and then accelerate! If i try to drive immediately, it starts to push like trying to find the speed and to doesnt fully engage to the D1 etc for some seconds. My CLatch disks are brand new. Is it normal?

I have driven both cars, here we have Nissan Xtrail 2.5L 2WD standard option with cruise control and Bluetooth(japan made).
And Hyundai Tucson Mid Plus 1.6L Turbocharged. With panoramic sunroof, push button, rear view camera, cruise control, etc. And price is 2000$ more for tucson (korean)
So i am bit confused to go with a japanese or korean and also concerned about resales.
Resale for Tucson will be better, many people in the world search for Tucson. Now 2000$ it is not a big difference for an SUV. I recommend you to buy the car that make you feel good and happy and also have more options and comfort. Good luck with your choice ...let me know what you buy in the end . 😋👍🙏

I took my drivers license in a Hyundai Tucson from 2016 6-speed manuel 115 hp diesel. I wasn't really impressed it had so much body roll that it started to become uncomfortable (dont know if that's a thing whit SUV's) it drives fine, the steering feels axle feels like it's connected with a spring, the gearbox feels like frozen butter unlike my parents VW Passat b6 variant from 2007 witch slides perfectly in to the gears and the steering axle feels connected and have a lot better cornering performance

Hei das soll hier nicht als fiese Kritik gelten aber dieses Review ist ziemlich langweilig eintönig und ich hätte dir viele Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten. Du könntest etwas Pep rein ringen und alles wenig auffrischen. Die Leute stehen bei Reviews auf Information, Klarheit, gute Bilder(nicht nur die ganze Zeit von deiner Sicht aus.. Evtl stativ). Natürlich ab und zu etwas lustig zu machen oder Witze kommen sehr gut an und bringen dir mehr Zuschauer.. Und an deinem Englisch musst du umbedingt arbeiten und nicht alles so viel wiederholen. Wie gesagt nimm das positiv und nicht negativ. Aber dieses Video würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen. Gruss
