The only thing RU fans should say to Cliff is: “Thank you, Cliff”
very true.
Can't find it in my heart to say that for Paul and Cam.
Aaron, a personal note: As a fellow Rutgers man and devoted fan of the Knights, I appreciate your dedication to, and sacrifices in behalf of, this journalistic endeavor. Please keep it up. A lot of us out here depend on you for your efforts and insights. BRAVO!
(PS Hopefully, you're gleaning some monetary rewards from it ;-)
Thank you for watching and very kind words. Appreciate the support.
Arron I agree with you cliff has been awesome!!
HBD Aaron. God Bless. Love all of your ranting...
Who is wanting Cliff back? I think he did as much as he could at RU.. Hope he gets the bag and enjoys his final year of college basketball.
Cliff was an outstanding defensive player for RU and a good representative as a student athlete. There is no way Ebole will be a positive factor at the center position for RU next year. He's big, strong but is not a legitimate college center. Thanks Aaron.
I never understood people bashing 4 year players like Cliff and Paul leaving after graduating. Hey, I went to a different graduate school after graduating from RU....and I didn't get hundreds of thousands of dollars! I'm still a loyal Rutgers grad!
My hope for Cliff is that Rick Pitino at St. Johns snatches Cliff up, for the simple fact that Cliff became stagnant at RU (10 ppg year after year) while Pitino could possibly expand his offensive abilities.
Cliff needs a different coach to open another door to using his innate abilities.
Cliff only thrives when he's surrounded with legitimate perimeter threats. Junkyard Dog from Georgetown type player. He will never be an offensive feature on a legitimate tournament team, and that's ok.
An elite dunker, but couldn't make a lay-up.We can do better.
The sad thing about most of these transfer portal players is that not only will most of them not make the NBA, but amongst all the ones that are in the portal, most of them won't even be good enough to make another college basketball roster.
This Rutgers alum continues to shake his head over the delusion of some Rutgers fans. I call it the inverse of The Jersey Panic - The Jersey Delulu.
Cliff did what he had to do and made a significant contribution at Rutgers. I wish him the best moving forward.
And I thought Gavin Griffiths went to Nebraska, not Wisconsin - unless I'm missing something.
correct
Good point on the fans. I said Griffiths went to Nebraska twice and referenced Hoiberg as a good coach. I also mentioned Connor Essegian going there who just transferred from Wisconsin. Maybe that’s the confusion.
Maybe we are hard on Cliff...but you OVERRATE HIM....hope he makes as much money as he can...
Aaron, Given the unlikelihood of getting an elite transfer big man, do you think Pikielle and staff should consider or might consider a ‘small ball’ approach for the 24/25 season?
Yeah and J&J is based in New Brunswick. That's my point.
When is the last time you saw J&J advertise in an athletic event? I mean, REALLY? EVER?
This has nothing to do with advertising. It's totally about financially supporting the state university that is also your neighbor.
Where's J&J when it comes to supporting Rutgers athletics. FedEx just gave $25M to Memphis. Memphis!
FedEx headquarters is in Memphis.
@@steveneverett584To be fair Johnson & Johnson HQ is in New Brunswick, so by that logic they should be giving money like FedEx did with Memphis.
I am told J&J donates a lot of money to Rutgers...just maybe not sports...
@@jimmypalumbo5257 Yeah i’m sure they have donated plenty of money to the academics so they can indoctrinate their students and push their agenda Lol (I am a rutgers student)
