I am a woman a little late to the fragrance game, so I had never heard of, nor smelled, D&G Light Blue original. Not too long ago, I ordered my husband his favorite fragrance, Chanel de Bleu, and a few samples were included in the shipment I received. Light Blue was one of them. The moment I smelled it, I fell in love! I have no idea why, but the smell gave me the feeling of a strong, handsome man holding me in his arms in a protective and loving way. The smell makes me feel secure and safe and relaxed. I immediately ordered the women's version for me without testing it in advance and I was very disappointed. It reminds me a bit of a bathroom cleaner or air freshener, so i use it to freshen the room on sunny days. I wanted my husband to wear the men's version SOOO bad, just so i could smell him, but it is not his type of scent, so I knew he wouldn't, and I was right. If he did, i probably would never be able to leave him alone. So I bought a bottle anyway, just for me. He is away often because he is a truck driver, so on nights when he is away, and sometimes even when he is here, I spray my pillow with it before I go to sleep and I feel like I am in heaven. I work from home, so I will sometimes even spray it on myself when I need that little extra something for the day. That is some amazing stuff. Everyone is different, but for me, that stuff is a magic potion.
Mysterious Night is one of the best surprises I’ve ever gotten in the fragrance game. Received it blind in a swap due to the note breakdown intriguing me. Stunning stuff.
Great video! D&G is my favorite fragrance house. I'm wearing OG Light Blue right now. I routinely wear Pour Homme, The One Edt, and Light Blue as my signatures. I also have Intenso and enjoy it from time to time. It's a good casual wear, but I also agree, that it takes a backseat to the OG Pour Homme.
The classic OG Pour Homme made in italy version is one of my all-time favorite fragrances. Luminous Night is the Goat for me now. K Intense and all of the K line fragrances are good to me. Light blue was amazing when it 1st came out. By was also very sexy. The One EDP and Grey. Love me some D&G. Great video Ross

Like you Tommy, Polo green, Aqua di Geo was my start but the fragrance that started my journey and passion for all fragrances was Fahrenheit Edt. It has many haters due to the violet note that smells like gasoline to many but to my nose it smelt masculine, sexy! It became my signature scent for 7 years through college. Anyways, thanks for telling your viewers to wear what they like! Sorry for the book 😂
Thanks for mentioning the Eau Intense for women! Some people have written it off as an outdated boring scent, but it's something I like wearing to the gym or during outdoor activities! Planning to get a D&G scent for my guy as he likes freshies a lot and I feel D&G makes those pretty well. 😮
I think it’s great too that Ross and Justin use each other’s formats from time to time. You can’t make multiple daily high quality videos like Ross and every single video be a unique idea. I just love listening to fragrance conversation whatever the format. These best of the house have been a real treat. Justin and especially Ross are the best at what they do. D&G is such a fantastic house. Light Blue DNA is straight up 🐐. I wonder if they will ever release a LB EDP flanker that sticks to that classic EDT scent profile but bumps the longevity a bit. I doubt anybody has cloned it good enough, either.
Light Blue Forever is one of my faves but that super strong grapefruit note is hit or miss for a lot of people, so I understand why you have it in the middle of the pack
I discovered Light Blue from a friend, who would go smoke weed during our lunch breaks at work. He'd douse himself in Light Blue before he came back in. It's my #1 too.
For me D&G has everything what you need for any situation Light blue intense summer/daily, K Edt versatile, The one date/special occasion and D&G Pour Homme almost for any situation
My favourites from the house: The One Mysterious Night (great rose oud scent; I am not a fan of Royal Night), Velvet Amber Sun (my fav amber-vanilla scent), Velvet Incenso (great incense), Light Blue Forever (prefer it to Italian Love), Light Blue Living Stromboli (interesting watery notes)
That "F" bomb was justified and unapologetic because of who you are, what you do, and the passion that you show for a part of your past,present, and future it's the same way I feel about Joop Night Flight and being 58 I was one who wore the pink baby maker bomb that turned into the disastrous reformulated bug spray it is today Joop Homme and I'm happy to have a 75ml Lancaster version and half of a 125ml of the Coty version of Night Flight thank God that Ahmed Al Maghribi Kaaf came out because although it's more of a Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce/Percival inspiration to me it's the reincarnation of Night Flight and I will always have some type of version of it after I use up all of the og I have
was out at Nordstrom and Bloomingdales yesterday and no tester of light blue EDT available. I blind bought it on Fragrancenet, $37 for the 75mL, should be easy enough to sell or gift if by some chance I don't like it. 35yo and enjoy fresh fragrances.

Okay, this is what I say to all who say... some frag is so weak. Most frags arent as weak as many think. Do this... take the shittiest frag you cant stand, that really lasts poorly. Spray 3 good sprays. You will smell that frag into tomorrow. Now take something like sauvage parfum that ppl say its dead weak... if you dont like sauvage, you will not be able to wash it off as you will keep smelling it. The frags are not as weak as many think. Sure some are stronger than others but rarely a frag will last 1-2 hours.
K EDT smells terrible to me brodie I get a starch spray vibe. Only time I’d be alright with smelling that is if my I received my clothes back from the cleaners and it wreaked of it.
Lol stopped watching after intenso ranked the lowest... ok.. i didnt.. but i should have... its by far their best, its just dated. Performance could be better, but performance sucks on almost all the DGs

The One EDT, EDP, Light Blue (for women), Eau intense(for men), BY Man, and the VINTAGE Pour Homme are TRULY the class of D&G. To me that is.

Funny enough, I just wore D&G The One Royal Night today lol. I got Luminous Night and Mysterious Night as well. All 3 amazing scents.

just smelled old batch of d&g pour homme , smells very light i doubt today’s formulations could get much lighter
