This certainly one of the best fan films out there, however there is one criticism I have and that is the characterisation of the Doctor. He's an asshole, which would have been fine had he had the underlying heart of the rest of the incarnations.
The amount of times I've watched this and I've never commented I think it's because it brilliant! I love the carelessness of the doctor overall and for the record I've watched since the beginning

When I saw this episode on my feed I poured myself a glass of Coca-cola, sat back and watched this. And dear lord, this is just perfect! Absolutely love this episode and I know I'm going to love the series. It's got the humour and the drama. Some fan films or shows don't have the wittiness Doctor Who actual has but this has made me laugh numerous times. Loved the 10th and 11th Doctor charactistics and The Master cliff-hanger you put in there and can't wait for the next episode

I really commend the work that has gone into this. Obviously the directors, producers and writers are very talented. Although I did find that the acting was 'okay' at best, with the exception of The Doctor (he was wonderful). It distracted me from the story a little bit, which was a shame. Everything else was fantastic though, the sets, the costume, the music. Overall a great production! 8/10
very nice work, only bit of criticism would be the audio, it could be the mic or the way you set it but the audio in this in non consistant and at times can peak for example a scream could make you deaf, so for future episodes please make audio a priority, but the episode was very well done all together.

Hello there, I plan on making an episode where multiple Doctors come together to save the universe from another time war. I plan on getting some people from other fan films to film some green screen footage or if they have a console room then that, so i can ether edit multiple Doctors to be in the same place or I can have Doctors communicating through the tardis monitor system. I really like the kid playing the doctor, good personality and good acting. i will say though, the simple suit and tie isnt very "doctory." needs sprucing up.
I just want to start by saying that I liked this, every single bit of it, but I want to address some things that stood out to me, both good and bad. Take everything with a grain of salt, as it's just my stupid opinion. The opening scene was pretty interesting, though the characters played the pronoun game too much. Essentially, it seemed as though you were trying to hide the identity of the Doctor from the audience, which was strange since the audience and the characters in the scene already know of him. A bit of a pet peeve, but it got a little repetitive to hear them refer to the Doctor as "he" for a fairly long time. Though I do like the little referential quote you put in at the end, it didn't seem forced and fit in really well. The part where you first hear the Doctor was amazing and hilarious. It gave me a really good idea of his character and provided some nice comic relief to keep my attention. It was placed really well in the story as I was just beginning to lose interest. HOW DID YOU MAKE YOUR SETS?!?!? They're so amazing and it's nice to see a fan series that tries a little harder than green screen. It just makes the scale seem so much more grand and really captivates the audience. Most of the acting was really good, especially for a fanfilm. I wonder; did you pay these actors or are they just friends? I just ask because I myself plan to make a fanfilm series, and paying actors GREATLY increases the budget, but also increases the quality of the film. Regardless, they were amazing. Some of the audio balancing was a little off, especially in big rooms. Dialogue would be quiet and then a loud noise would clip the mic. However, the audio was fine most of the time and these little moments were still acceptable enough. Just something to keep in mind for the future. The crime scene was really convincing and brought a tear to my eye. It was a nice moment that didn't linger for too long and felt real. More stuff like that please! AAAAH! That scream! You probably know the one. They were behind the fence, running from that robed figure. It was unbearable. My ears aren't literally bleeding, though it feels like they are. Wow! 26 minutes in and it feels like nothing! Good job mate, props to you for keeping excellent pacing. And both the A and B stories are really captivating. Hahaha, did the Doctor just hit the Sonic against his head? That's hilarious, more stuff like this please! Your Doctor looks and sounds awesome! Love his character, very reminiscent of Matt Smith. Your TARDIS console room could use some work. I appreciate that it wasn't a green screen effect still, it looks better. That Doctory speech was very genuine and awesome. And the bit after it was hilarious and badass. Again, I love your Doctor's character and I'm excited to see how he develops in the future. The way the A and B story met up and resolved was amazing, your writing is top notch. And finally, I noticed this in the second TARDIS scene, but your cinematography is really good. Cinematography is generally one of those things where it's better if the audience DOESN'T notice, because that means it isn't bothering them. Still great work! Overall this episode made me subscribe! It's great and I can't wait to see more. I hope that if I ever get on with my own Doctor who *Shortfilm* series (I plan to make episodes 10-15 minutes in length because it's a little better for a youtube demographic and I'm a lazy fuck) that it will be half as good as your own! Good luck on future endeavors, I'll definitely keep posted!
Ugh, ever since Nu-hu the Doctor has to act like an annoying cartoon character. Nice production values though. Just invest in a good microphone & get it close to the speaking characters.

We can confirm there is no CGI backgrounds in this episode. There are however partial set extensions using CGI, but the set itself is authentic. 😊
