kyunki bahuth halki bike hain R15 aur Mt. Problems with Yamaha India: -ithni halki bike bina carbon fibre ke matlab, bahuth halki plastic ka isteh maal kiya hain, dhoop mein khade kahde crack padd jaati hain R15 aur MT ki plastics mein. -Every 4-5 years Faring change karni padthi hain, becomes faded, brittle and ugly due to harsh indian Sun. unke Chassis bi rust hothi hain Taile secton se. -Very light wheel rims, bends easily when going fast over pot holes mostly bikes mein internationally weight kum hoti hain aur India mein zyaada due to govt. mandates like Saree Guard, Crash Guard, Full exhaust system with Catalytic converters, Stricter emission norms and fuel injection and ABS. But Yamaha Bikes in india are lighter than international variants (Indonesia Thailand, japan, China, Philippines) which is clear indication that in pursuit of better power: ratio, quality of panels have been compromised. I personal owned R15 v2, but due to terrible plastic degradation overtime, I had to hide it with a wrap, but it was too late, cracks started becoming problematic and i had to change the entire tail section Panel and left fairing (had to Wait close to 5 months for the panels to arrive). But had to let it go after sometime as the front headlight fairing also started to develop cracks from underneath. See to reduce Weight you have two options: - Build the Chassis out of Carbon fibre (strong and stiff) or use Cast aluminum (weak but stiff). - Construct fairing out of Carbon fibre or plastic fibre glass - Most road superbikes use plastic fibre glass which is heavy, Yamaha ditched both and went ahead with cheap thin plastic that isnt really UV resistant, only the outer paint gets UV protective film layer which wears off with time. If u really like Yamah R15 or MT, use it for 2 years and sell it off so you don have to deal the mess with fairing, else keep doing Ceramic coating every 2-3 years. Great bikes to ride, but sad reality is u cant get away with weight reduction the cheap way without long term consequences.
I purchased v4 white only in 2.16 lakh , aur yamaha ka and Bajaj ka koi comparision nhi h Bajaj ka engine kuda hai 2 sal thik se chalta hai bas 😂 better to spend 40k more and get R15 v4
