    Great video again! Is it easy to get a job in Dubai to be remote from there, and what areas of AI do you think are most in demand?

    • @NicolaiAI
      @NicolaiAI  Рік тому +1

      Thanks a lot man! My pleasure. For a remote job your location doesn’t really matter. There are a bunch of on-site jobs in Dubai within AI but the process is a bit more complicated compared to being a freelancer. Pretty much every area of ai is in demand as long as the skill level is high enough

    Thank you for this, I am seriously considering moving to Dubai within the next few years and my situation will be similar as I have a mortgage in my hometown which I don't want to rent out and just keep it so I can go back and forth
    At the moment I am a Cyber Security Engineer for Industrial Control Systems, by the time I potentially want to move to Dubai I will have 10 years experience within Cyber Security, my only worry is the weather in Dubai's summer, is it possible to come back home (Scotland) and work remotely?

    • @NicolaiAI
      @NicolaiAI  2 дні тому

      Definitely go schedule a call on the link I have in the description with the guys I’m working with!
      The summer is not too crazy when u get used to it. But yea u can just leave to any country over the summer and work remotely. Rest of the year the weather is perfect. I compare the summer in Dubai as the winter in Europe except most things down here is indoor and build around the weather too. Definitely you should pull the trigger if u like the advantages down here

    Hi Nicolai, What are some REAL ESTATE companies in Dubai hiring AI Engineers?

    bruh how does this work? the jobs i checked there as experienced mechatronics engineer from germany. the most they offered was about 80-90k $ a year

    • @NicolaiAI
      @NicolaiAI  29 днів тому

      I work internationally and have a ton of different income streams. But 90k per year with 0% tax is crazy high salary and would be hard to get in most places except largest US cities and then expense is 2x. That salary is pretty much 2x everywhere in the world

    • @mustafasolmaz5946
      @mustafasolmaz5946 28 днів тому

      @@NicolaiAI thx for the quick response. but my income is already that high in germany :D and my rent is actually quite cheap and you get child support here. i pay 30% taxes but getting approx 1k a month for 3 kids. and it doesn´t actually seem to be cheap in dubai. the only question is, how long will it stay that way :D germany is going down at highspeed so i´m thinking about relocating. what do you say, does it make sense for me to consider relocating to dubai?

    • @NicolaiAI
      @NicolaiAI  28 днів тому

      @mustafasolmaz5946 have a couple of videos out on the channel covering a bit more about it but have one ready for this week specifically for this. Normally I only recommend people working remotely and internationally to move but 90k is crazy high down here compared to average. Normally only high level managers and c positions are worth. But companies provide insurance and everything for you and your family which is required by law. Also no capital gains taxes etc and the life style. Shouldn’t just be for the money but Dubai is one of the few places growing in world and just a different environment. And also 0 crime. Most cities and countries are failing big time and going down fast

      So u will need a visa to move to Dubai. If you already have freelance work etc it’s pretty easy to just setup a company and sponsor yourself. The work freelance out in the world, that’s for sure the best way in my opinion. Second option would be to get a job but that’s harder and Dubai is also pretty expensive depending on where you want to live.

      @@NicolaiAI the reason I ask is because the grapevine seems to suggest that the IT industry in Dubai isn't very well paid. If you're clients are based in Dubai it might counter that theory. Factors such as the pay being dependent on nationality, and their preference to lower costs by taking advantage of that. I have looked at whether it would make sense for me to look for work there, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the jobs I found, but then again I'm in DevOps.
