Masterclass with Professor Radovan Vlatkovic in which they work on Strauss and Mozart's Concertos. This masterclass took place at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, Madrid 2019.

Terrific playing. So nice to get to see Radovan work with such an advanced musician...details and musicality! Really lovely work, and , of course, there's that Vlatkovic SOUND! Kudos to the accompanist as well. He's really on top of things!

I believe the girl is playing alexander 103 and the master is playing paxman 20m
@@aaronwon1143 Thank you. After 1am I got the tictictic from my phone. Who could be messaging me? It was your message. I didn't even know this feature existed. It gave me a chuckle and I went back to sleep. This is a really useful demo of two distinct horn sounds. I was expecting the master's instrument to be an 8d.

@@aaronwon1143 Old, old guy. Played oboe most of my adult life. In my third week of horn study. After much research I did what I would never have advised a student to do and rented a student horn from a music store--Chinese double, labelled "Antigua." I played a H179 that's for sale at a local repair shop of good repute and did not find it any easier but I'm not yet in any position to judge.
Strangely though I think you may be right it looks quite fat for a simple double 103... Might be a triple she has, as I also believe I'm seeing another trigger that's not pressed above her thumb...
