Great workmanship with beautiful end result. One tiny comment, when I studied woodwork at school some 50+ years ago , we were taught to turn all the screw slots so that they were aligned with each other, and they formed a ring on a circle shapes. Keep up the good work.
What this guy can't do with a metalwork lathe isn't worth knowing. You are a genius and a master at the art. Loved the video and the project was a master piece. Thank you for a superb show.
It's 9:30 and already took a break from work to watch your video. Best 21:03 of the day so far... hahaha Nice idea and execution. The fact that you use the lathe in order to make the metal parts gives extra points to the whole process. Excellent video.
Looks really great. Kind of a missed opportunity that you haven't stuck actual phone hardware in there. With how small that stuff tends to be even in cheap phones there would have been enough room for the actual phone and the storage compartments
Would be kind of cool to get some cheap Bluetooth headset and put in that hardware, that is really small and should not be hard at all. That or some other way of hooking up your cellphone, because seriously, who has a functioning phone jack in their house anymore? I've never owned a "house phone" in my life, my parents or even my grandparents who are in their late 80s have long since switched over to only mobile :P
Amazing work as always! The level of detail and the fact that you manufactured so much of the hardware is mind boggling. On a side note, I think you and ClickSpring should do a collab if possible. You are both masters of intricate Brass work, imagine what you two could create!
You should make a playing cards case. There are so many magacians who carry cards with them and the old rustic look is their style. I think it would get alot of attention.
Very Nice! Prettier than the actual real phones! Although I bet you probably could have bought the actual fittings off of a 1890's wall phone for what you spent on brass rod and billet
I like it i didn't expected that was for whiskey case after so much work, but u could put and some holders for the glasses and bottle inside in case by accident to fall and break.

I'm in absolute aww! I thought this was an old phone turned liquor 'cabinet' but you making this entire master piece from scratch was just... WOW! My family had a real phone like that when I was growing up, the bottom 'counter' where you write your notes, was actually a lid to where we kept paper, business cards and pens. Does that make sense? I know I didn't describe that well, my mind is kind of blank right now. I've officially subscribed 👏👏
Thank you for such a masterclass on lathe work a beautiful project somehow let down with the woodworking, bare plywood edges do nothing for the overall finish of the project.
Fantastic craftsmanship. Honestly looks like a real old crank phone.
This isn’t what I was expecting. A replica made from scratch. I thought this was an old phone up-cycled into a mini bar. So much more. Great job.

Beautiful. What are the parts of the bell from?
Metal spinning on the lathe. I just didn’t show this in the video, since it was already very long.
