I used to paint on canvas totes and other fabrics using acrylic paint. I just added a medium to them to help them adhere to the fabric. Plus water down the mix so you didn't use as much paint. This is a very pretty Design, thank you!
@@LoveLetterstoMilo @marciamcgrath4953 have you also used acrylic lacquer finish afterwards? I was also wondering if it's ok to quick wash at 30 degrees... (will definitely water down next too, thanks for the tip) --and yes, lovely flower field you have there :)
Lovely. I especially like the way you allowed the design to peek out over the basic square...very smart. Because I am an overly cautious person, i would have slipped something into the tote to prevent seepage onto the back...but that's just me being me.... Than you for this lovely class.
Thank you so much Loretta, I actually should have left the part where I placed a paper inside the bag - I edited it out because I didn't want the video to get too long - But in the end, the paper didn't even get stained, so it would not have mattered. This is the second video I have watched… I am enjoying your channel. Made me think of painting my jacket which has paint splotches all over the sleeves and front. I’m a messy artist for sure but my art work is cleaner than I am.🤔 Thanks for sharing your lovely art and inspiration. ❤
