Very nice commentary and greatly appreciated. A level-headed look at the past and near future is refreshing. I am also entused about the prospects of the, based sley on the existing roster as it stands ready to KO in '25. GG!
Appreciate you taking the time to support the show, Tom! Try my best to keep things objective but generally positive without being afraid to be critical when necessary. It is mind boggling how different the state of the program is from September to now. Hope they keep building on that momentum!
Part of the reason, Scott Strickland will not fire CBN. SS only interviewed CBN. He was the *ONLY* guy the SS wanted to come with him. As long as SS is AD, CBN is probably coach. Of course, Basketball is doing well and Baseball looks promising, so that will keep SS in his position for at least 1-2 years. The biggest missing pieces are on defense. The defense improved, but never got pressure without a blitz and it seems like Florida never even *TRIED* to block a punt under CBN.
did we hire an OC? other than that what revamp? the only revamp is Lagway carrying Napiers crap playbook. he runs a slow methodical playbook that takes way too long to develop and requires a mobile qb like Lagways to run it. Notice how when teams run zone we get screwed? even Tulane did that and picked Lagway off two times, luckily our talent gap and depth was better or we could have screwed that pooch too. Napier needs an elite playcaller or we will continue to lose winnable games like TN, A&M, Miami, and UGA(i dont fully discredit him due to injury but it was his fault for us not using the 4 star on the bench instead of the Yale crap show walk on)
No OC was hired unfortunately. There wasn't really anybody super obvious to go after and Napier isn't going to let Rob Sale call plays. Napier's play-calling will handcuff the offense and it's been on full display this season and in the bowl game like you mentioned. Thanks for checking out the show!

i hope for the best but expect us to drop some dumb games due to his playcalling
