@@dubbssawshop I've a 3400 I picked up for $40. Currently sourcing parts to put it back in running order. Will be interesting to see what you do with them. I'm more a Dolmar guy tho. Go-to is my dad's old 111 I inherited and I also have a 133 for the heavy work. I'm looking at either a 288 or 395 farmertec parts kit as a chainsaw mill powerhead I wouldn't mind blowing up learning to port. The poulan was just a "it's right there, why not?" Opportunistic but.
I can’t say for sure but u might want to switch to a byway muffler for like $30. I know one person had a problem with the paint melting off the muffler of a Clone saw and it damaged the piston. Something to b aware of. Nice vid. I like these clones. With a few oem part switches I think they can last awhile.
I very well may. It’s a great running Saw and the auto oiler still works too 👍. I have a new 20” TimberWolf bar for it also. If your interested send me an email and I’ll get you some pictures and other info. May take me a bit to reply due to work right now but I will respond soon as I have the time. Thanks for watching. dubbssawshop@gmail.com
Those saws are awesome..my buddy @jon bob millwright got his ported and hauling a@#..I like building the kits ..my kit is here I just haven't got around to start building it.🤙🏻🪓😎
Im doing dune clean up porting and opening the transfers up a bit, but nothing too wild yet, I’m going to order a meteor or hyway piston for it then go all in.

To tell the truth I'm more interested in the poulan on the bench. Is that a 3400/3700/4000 or a 4200/5200?
I’ve got a 3400&3700, will be a video coming soon on them. 👍 great saws for sure.
