Hi Friends 👋 it's finally time for a new video ✨ Last week I asked for recommendations for christmas-y EXO songs to react to, and you've helped me out a lot, so I'll do my best to make some of them happen soon 👏 As for today I wanted to ask for suggestions again! In the last group-MV-reaction I posted, a couple of you have rightfully pointed out that I haven't reacted to ANY EXO-M song so far 👀 honestly, with how I'm focusing on my korean-studies through college atm, this part of their discography has totally slipped my mind, and I'm very sorry for the oversight to my dear EXO-M-enthusiasts 🙈 For the sake of my language-training and an easier first connection to the songs, I'd like to keep checking out the EXO-K versions first, but I'm very open to check out some of the EXO-M-versions to songs I've already reacted to! So my question for today is: Out of the EXO-songs I know so far, which EXO-M-versions should I check out? 🤔 I'll try to start working on these very soon, and I think it could be very fun as both a first look on the EXO-M-version of a song, aswell as a second look on the song itself in general and how it's grown on me over time! What do you think?
There are a lot of Mandarin versions from every EXO album, so basically the title tracks also have a Mandarin version! I’ll let you decide for yourself. ☺️ However I want to recommend EXO member LAY’s songs. A small confession when I started to react to EXO I really felt LAY was really underrated by a lot of fans. I love his music and he produces his own tracks too, writes them in both English and Mandarin! I can recommend you LIT and Lose Control to start with 😁
Just be careful reacting to Chinese version cause sometimes it gets block by YT from different country but if you have patreon we can watch it there. More powers to you.
The dance practice room is actually the old SM building and the dance practice room during Monster era is the new building and if I'm not mistaken that building was built by the money that exo earned or most of the money came from exo.
Actually sm have two buildings and every rookie group performed in that dance practice room snsd, shinee, exo, Red velvet idk about nct but althese grps have performed in that room

I love how much they seem to be having fun with their performances. You can see Chen just smiling as he dances, Baekhyun just feeling himself, Lay popping off as usual. Honestly this is one of my favourite performances because they just genuinely look like a group of friends dancing around and having fun together.
I didn’t 👀 there was a moment though where I was wondering why I suddenly can’t really PinPoint three faces when it was only Chen and Suho giving me trouble before 😂 that must’ve been the reason!

11:50 since they dance practice room used to be small and exo was this large boy group with 12 members, almost all of their early dance practice videos had camera movements in order to make all guys fit on screen. Just watch growl dance practice and you will get it how hard was recording their dance with 12 members in this small room. It's full of camera movements and twistings.
This dance practice room is very precious to us. It is the very first of dance practice room of SM. They shifted to new building during their Monster Era. I feel like s oldie watching this room. Growl was shot in this with 12 members

The official music show stages for this song were so so beautiful. Theres them in uniforms, there's alice in wonderland themed clothes, its BEAUTIFUL. Love that era. I encourage you to watch them on your own for fun 💖
if you see the blue sky yknow it's going to be something but luckily sm artists now have more dance studios and the main one has tech so you can plug in whatever music or video you want. They even have couches in the corner to chill. One of the dance rooms is for sm fans to see through and catch a glimpse of idols working and the others are not monitored like that but I'm sure it still has cameras tbh.
For live performance of lmr check out the tender love + love me right in exordium japan it has all 9 members as Kai was injured during this period so he had to sit for a few concerts also tender love is a bside track and dosen't have an mv and they performed lmr in Japanese

It's their old but the legendary practice room in SM town (easy to recognize because of it's sky background) but now they already have their new practice room in their new building which was constructed (not so sure if they bought it or constructed it) all because of their song "Growl". Their new practice rooms are bigger.
Japanese ver. in Japan is really good, and it is in good quality on youtube. There are also Love me right fancams from K friends concert in Shanghai, when as i can recall things didnt go as planned at all, but they were laughing so hard during Call me baby and were so chaotic when they were told to leave the stage and they didnt...
You trying to guess their names was exactly how I guessed at the beginning too. I won't be able to recognize Chen and Suho so I left them to the end. Xiumin, Kai and DO where easier to recognize since day.... 30?
I feel you on the fish eye lens and the moving camera. I get motion sick really easily and sometimes it bugs me with their dance practices. There aren't a lot though. Also, they bounce around in this one, and it was before they got the new practice rooms, so I think there was just more movement than normal. I usually don't feel dizzy on their other dance practices. I will say that Love Me Right is a bop and the dance is one of my favorites. You should definitely watch their live performance of this from their Exordium concert in Seoul (Seoul concerts don't get the copyright strikes like the Tokyo ones). It was FIRE!!!! One of my favorite performances of theirs. Otherwise their live comeback stage performances of this were lit as well.
I think you will enjoy EXO’s ‘Call me, Baby’ if you love this one. It has the same happy and catchy vibe! Check out their acoustic version too. It is super addictive... I had it on repeat mode for 15 minutes straight!
And right now I highly recommend you to watch exo kai first solo mv ' Mmmh ' and also his dance performance for party B specially watch ' Reason '. That is so damn hot and mind blowing.. also watch kai film for his six tracks on his album. You will enjoy his art and performance a lot. The duritaion is about almost 7 mins.

Its an actual dance practice instead of a produced video. It’s literally just their manager with a camera standing on a chair in front of the mirror so they can monitor it for later. If you watch the growl dance practice it’s even worse with all 12 of them in a tiny room (they’re literally dancing into the wall in some parts 😂) and so many moving parts and the camera is also moving. I personally like it I feel like it’s more an authentic “dance practice” but that’s just me as an old kpop stan who is used to watching them like this

Kai dropped his hat in growl somg but he picks that smoothly and quickly like its a part as it was one time shot mv and here also his hat but that part was cool though.. the way he handles
@@Landyra yup, it was him. 😂😂 Even in some other stages when other members cap like lay's fall he smoothly push the cap out of the stage so others wouldn't fall over on it.
I really like love me right choreo but the only thing I feel bad about it is that most of the time Lay is at the back, he is such a great dancer as Kai, he deserves more time to really shine with EXO. I understand that that they are many but when he dances this song particularly is like I need more Lay dancing in the front like the music video where is a part to focus on him and it is so good.

@@Landyra it happens many times. He has short screen time and since years he is been inactive so most people don't notice him. But he is amazing and you can see it in his solo works! You could check his MVs sheep, namanana, honey, lit as an example.

I didn't get the comment about the camera movement, to me, it was barely moving. And the nice thing about this practice is that they make it seem fun and effortless, though it 's a detailed choreo and they 're kind of divided into subgroups, doing different movements, so that it doesn't seem repetitive. It wasn’t really moving, it was somewhat shaking and not steady 🤔 it’s probably not very noticeable if you don’t have trouble with motion sickness 🙈 I agree on it seeming very fun and effortless though, I enjoyed it a lot ^-^

if you see the blue sky yknow it's going to be something but luckily sm artists now have more dance studios and the main one has tech so you can plug in whatever music or video you want. They even have couches in the corner to chill. One of the dance rooms is for sm fans to see through and catch a glimpse of idols working and the others are not monitored like that but I'm sure it still has cameras tbh.
For live performance of lmr check out the tender love + love me right in exordium japan it has all 9 members as Kai was injured during this period so he had to sit for a few concerts also tender love is a bside track and dosen't have an mv and they performed lmr in Japanese

It's their old but the legendary practice room in SM town (easy to recognize because of it's sky background) but now they already have their new practice room in their new building which was constructed (not so sure if they bought it or constructed it) all because of their song "Growl". Their new practice rooms are bigger.

Japanese ver. in Japan is really good, and it is in good quality on youtube. There are also Love me right fancams from K friends concert in Shanghai, when as i can recall things didnt go as planned at all, but they were laughing so hard during Call me baby and were so chaotic when they were told to leave the stage and they didnt...
You trying to guess their names was exactly how I guessed at the beginning too. I won't be able to recognize Chen and Suho so I left them to the end. Xiumin, Kai and DO where easier to recognize since day.... 30?
I feel you on the fish eye lens and the moving camera. I get motion sick really easily and sometimes it bugs me with their dance practices. There aren't a lot though. Also, they bounce around in this one, and it was before they got the new practice rooms, so I think there was just more movement than normal. I usually don't feel dizzy on their other dance practices. I will say that Love Me Right is a bop and the dance is one of my favorites. You should definitely watch their live performance of this from their Exordium concert in Seoul (Seoul concerts don't get the copyright strikes like the Tokyo ones). It was FIRE!!!! One of my favorite performances of theirs. Otherwise their live comeback stage performances of this were lit as well.

Its an actual dance practice instead of a produced video. It’s literally just their manager with a camera standing on a chair in front of the mirror so they can monitor it for later. If you watch the growl dance practice it’s even worse with all 12 of them in a tiny room (they’re literally dancing into the wall in some parts 😂) and so many moving parts and the camera is also moving. I personally like it I feel like it’s more an authentic “dance practice” but that’s just me as an old kpop stan who is used to watching them like this

I really like love me right choreo but the only thing I feel bad about it is that most of the time Lay is at the back, he is such a great dancer as Kai, he deserves more time to really shine with EXO. I understand that that they are many but when he dances this song particularly is like I need more Lay dancing in the front like the music video where is a part to focus on him and it is so good.
I had no clue lay was even there 👀 I was just confused because there was suddenly three faces I wasn’t sure about during the choreo, when there was only two in the introduction clip in the beginning, but I thought I probably just confused someone 🤔

I didn't get the comment about the camera movement, to me, it was barely moving. And the nice thing about this practice is that they make it seem fun and effortless, though it 's a detailed choreo and they 're kind of divided into subgroups, doing different movements, so that it doesn't seem repetitive. It wasn’t really moving, it was somewhat shaking and not steady 🤔 it’s probably not very noticeable if you don’t have trouble with motion sickness 🙈 I agree on it seeming very fun and effortless though, I enjoyed it a lot ^-^
