You can see that even though they had to stay in Character it did look like Venom was trying to catch Cathy or at least prevent her from landing any harder when she tripped off the wheel with just the way she was standing as well as how she put her hands of Cathy as a way to make sure she is okay with her hand raised which is a common way to let people know that someone is okay and staying in character while helping Cathy up. I mean that is just my option.
What scares me the most is being on the receiving end of anything thrown by Battleaxe as she is a 15 time world arm wrestling champion so you know that she has some massive strength in her arms and upper body. It was said in a episode that she had fling 70 MPH balls in Catapult. OWWWWWW
