    At the 11 minute area I totally would have just left it at that, but man you certainly went the extra mile. Bravo!

    Great video - thanks for sharing your technique. I often add a couple of shades of green right at the start along the lowest couple of rows of stones so you get a “moss in the cracks” sort of effect to. I shall definitely try some of your techniques too now.

    In step 7 you applied Vallejo Model Air Sand all over, but in step 8 it looks like it's gone from the creases between the stones. Did it just "sink in" between the stones, did you remove it, or something else? :) Thanks!

    • @TabletopWorld
      @TabletopWorld  2 роки тому +2

      Hello Olive! Most of the watered down paint gets collected by the paper towel once you place the model on it. You can also use a dry brush to collect excess paint from certain areas if you need to. Keep in mind that the paint needs to be watered down significantly.

    Beautiful and great looking! I would love to paint my unpainted buildings like this, but all my older Tabletop World buildings have a light sand stone colour, since I want to build a village close to the coast. But I think I will make some variations! Keep up the good work and keep making the videos! ❤️

    Lucky for me I've only painted one of my TTW houses and can still apply some of the methods on to it. The other houses will definitely painted like in this video. Thanks a lot. I was pretty much in a creative blockade when it comes to TTW houses, now that everything is more clearly explained it looks pretty "easy" from my perspective. I'll have my village finished in no time. 😂😂

    Thank you for the tutorial! Yesterday I got my first house (The cottage II) and I am completely blown away by the model. THE best terrain piece I got. I dont have a lot money and they are not the cheapest, but I now see why the price is justified. I probably get one or two per year. One question, should I clean the model before priming? I always wash my plastic kits with dish soap, should I do it here too?

    • @TabletopWorld
      @TabletopWorld  2 роки тому

      Thank you so much for your positive feedback! :) No, you don't need to wash the model prior painting.

    I am a long time purchaser of your models. I appreciate you guys doing these videos. I noticed you didn't put a primer on the model. This is usually a standard step in the miniature painting process. Any reason that step is skipped?

    • @TabletopWorld
      @TabletopWorld  2 роки тому

      Thank you Kelly! :) No need to use primer on our models. The paint sticks very well on the resin we use for casting. ;)

    Hello! I just rewatched the video and I think the correct list of paints is this:
    Citadel Base Mournfang Brown
    Citadel Base XV-88
    Citadel Shade Agrax Earthshade
    Citadel Layer Karak Stone
    Citadel Layer Pallid Wych Flesh
    Citadel Shade Nuln Oil
    Citadel Shade Athonian Camoshade
    Citadel Base Waaagh Flesh
    Vallejo Model Air Nato Black
    Vallejo Model Air Cold Grey
    Vallejo Model Air Sand (Ivory)
    I think the list you have here is the second video list of paints :)
