Yamaha India Motors has announced the entry of the new Aerox 155 maxi-scooter in India at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). The new scooter carries technology from its R15 V4 (Rs 1.68 lakh, ex-showroom, pan India_ bike but costs a lot lesser. Yamaha Aerox 155 comes with segment-first features and tech innovations. The new 155cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine should offer a smooth acceleration with exhilarating power and improved reliability. In fact, it has the same engine as the R15, albeit, in a lower state of tune offering maximum power of 15 PS and a peak torque of 13.9 Nm.
