The 41 Dodge MUST stay; in Indiana/Ohio area, you know you can find a lot of vintage trucks - BUT there are not a lot of Dodge Power Wagon style military vehicles (you'll regret selling the 41). Have I mentioned, you should keep the 41 Dodge...now where did I read that again?

This truck is my dream truck, especially 45-68. If you build the 1941 Dodge WC Military truck, keep it looking like it is, don't cut it up or make it wider. These trucks are super rare & hard to find in one piece. Putting a difference motor, transmission, axles and frame is the only thing I'd do to it. I wouldn't touch the body beside fixing rusted out spots and do a patina style paint job. For those in the comments that are going to call this a Power Wagon. The civilian version Power Wagon wasn't around until 1946 - 1968 with this type of body style.
I'd love to say do the 41 1st, but logic makes me think do the 58 shop truck 1st then the golden nugget is surplus right ?. Then you can strip that and take more time doing the 41...

Build the 41 M52 first. That's my all time favorite combo with the 12 valve. If you do the 58 shop truck, you should think about doing a p7100 pump swap on the 24 valve. No wiring, no computer, no issues. Love y'all s channel, and I could use the bed off that donor truck btw!
Make your money 1st, build and sell the 41. My only thought is you want a daily for Hannah, so if she needs it before winter, build it 1st. She has her truck to use for now(the Dodge). I dunno, I would like to see the 41, but why sell it? I wish I could afford it when finished.
41 dodge is my vote but bottom line it's you all's decision... that son of a gun is gorgeous just like it sets...If it was me I'd get a good power train,suspension, brakes and tires...y'all pretty much lol every thing.. I guess that I am trying to say is get really mechanically SOUND... pretty it up good on the inside and other than that leave the rest of it alone...like I said its just so gorgeous just the way it sits.. the body the Stan's the grill guard r brush guard.... whatever you want to call it...I'm even in love with the patina.... I acknowledge the '41 is a great build, but, you asked which one we were more interested in seeing built first. While I "like" the '41??? I really, Really like the '58 build first a lot more (and nothing would please me more than to see it with a Roll-Back!!).

As far as frame swaps, the the D500 would be a a better fit. The dimensions on the military power wagon I don't think would match up well with the 2nd gen frame. I think the military would be a better fit to use the same frame but run a 4bt.

my 2 cents worth, that dodge is bad ass and needs 2 be fully restored to its origenal like new because its so rare, not something you will build, forget the rat-rod shit and test your skills, not just something you can patch together, lets see what you are really made of...
