Oh hell no, I wish my mom used a shoe or a broom. No, my mom was from the South, in the South it all about the switch! A switch is a thin flexible branch from a tree. Now different people swear by different tree's. But true southerners know its all about the peach tree. First thing my parents did when they moved from the south was plant 3 peach trees. I had know idea, I just enjoyed those sweet peaches. Until my mom told my sister to go get a switch so she could punish my brother. It was diabolical! The sound, screams! But that was nothing until I got my first last and only switching. Hell, I still cant look at peaches without flinching! LOL!

aw man i remember those extension cords. used to get in trouble at school but mama dont say nothing when you get home. she just wait. 9:30 come and you stepping out the shower and before that foot can even touch the floor i can hear the whoosh of air that was gone end my life for the next 20 minutes. who else cried before they got hit

dam , i never had to hold books but momma didnt play and when i hooked school for 2 weeks in 9th grade and the school called she bust in the shower and wore me out. You ever git the siwtch or cord with clothes off or momma always let them stay on even in 9th grade.

No my momma had this saying, she aint buy no clothes to whip, git all of em off so I usually got it on bare skin and that cord hurt super bad on bare skin and leave little welps sometimes. Momma would try to hit the ass but when jumping and moving she hit legs and back sometimes.
you had to have pants and boxers down too and hold your own shirt up. That had to suck. you get it that way even in 8th and 9th grade too. I didnt let my freinds know I was still getting whoopings then. Did your brothers and sisters git it the same way.
During my flashbacks, I had to remember to squeeze your butt cheeks in to it hurts less....try it, it works....
