Note to anyone new to the game. CLICK ON seasonal challenges as soon as you start playing the game. Your accomplishments are not recorded until you do so. I did not know this and played a month before even noticing that tab. For instance i had already made it out with 15 air drops yet my seasonal chalange said I had done zero of 5 yet. Simply because I had not opened the seasonal chalange tab yet. One challenge that's quite difficult to achieve as a new player is loot the barred house safe 25 times. I had already looted it about 8 times when I found the seasonal challenge tab and it said I still had zero of 25.
Thank you for your in depth comment and I agree with it all - except the fact that new players do NOT have access to the seasonal challenges immediately. I think it's after the story challenges have been completed, but as soon as I know and have evidence, I will be sharing it. I have about 200 encounters now, slightly better than when I started. Still not good. Now I feel bad I killed a raincoat near an exit who wasn't shooting, But I have horrible trust issues with players in this game.
I totally get that. Some green coats CAN be veteran players on a NEW account. Trust in the Outlands is hard to come across. If they don't have a gun, then give them a chance
When I first started playing, I would loot the closest area and then exfil immediately. Only downside to that is I’m now chasing me KPE (Kill Per Encounter for you new players)
I totally get that and we all had that issue, but if you get more kills and threat often, then it levels it up a little. Depends on how long it takes you to get confident or IF you care about the stats too. That will be discussed in a future video. Thank you

Started playing the game last night, did pretty well to say I tried it blind, ended up with 4 kills over 2 missions (1-3) but died on the last one because of that middle exit, my guy wouldnt sprint jump across the bridge 😢 had full loot too and killed the guy with an airdrop just before that exit but radiation left me no.option but to use this exit and fail 😂 your vids helped me massively tho with what I SHOULD actually be doing, i thought it was sorta a BR type game and had to wait to exit
Thank you. Your comment has reminded me to mention the Middle Exit on GV Map in a up and coming video. The jump is hard and weight of your loot can make it impossible. I recommend avoiding the middle exit and running for the end exits. I hope you are still enjoying the games though.

Also if you get a bad spawn, no shame in walking out and trying again (the longer you stay, the riskier). Plus, if you see M2E, H2H and VSG in someone's player name be very wary/careful.
Well said. Bad spawns can really throw your whole game. Getting to know the community and those names to look out for, will help, but unfortunately I feel that comes with time.

I feel that if I was putting more videos out more regularly, then things may be different, but I prefer to take my time and edit it well, quality over quantity. Do you mean the Tomato timer which gets turned at the beginning of each Encounter or do you mean 'Timed Safe' which is one of the three Lootable Events that gets randomly rotated (only two Lootable Events per Encounter)

@@m00nmanners Thanks again for your comment and I feel this would be a good subject to cover in a future video. So the Airdrop comes into the Encounter at the 8 minute mark. The tomato timer goes off 2 minutes later (so at the 10 minute mark). It can take 13 to 15 minutes, depending on the size, shape of the map and the direction of the wave, to be covered in the Radiation. The Radiation gets stronger the longer you are in it. This season (18) there are a few issues with maps & locked exits. Anniken has just had locked exits added, but it wasn't meant to be all of them - Devs are aware of this bug. Batterie Snodekt didn't have any locked exits until this season and also is a bug, but there is an exit with no lock on it at the South end - the same as the normal Batterie map. Grontheim Valley has a middle exit that can be broken by an Outlander, which then makes it locked for the rest of the game. Viktorsten Station has two locked, North & South of the map. Fiske, Sagbruk, Fjellkanten have one locked exit, which leaves Dverg Forest, Myren, Kjerstin & Brodalen Bridges as the ones with no locked exits at this current time. I hope this helps and maybe in the future I will be able to do a video just on these points.

I played on xbox when this released but not for too long and just recently started on switch within the past week. I can't say I have this issue. I've only just got to the "play with friends" quest so I'm not aware of this issue or is it happening after this quest?

Simple answer is yes, BUT - Early Access on PC has NO coop. They are planning on PC being fully coop/playing with friends like we do on console, when it comes full release later on this year.

If you camp the exits in the bushes…
... You have a boring game and probably only get 1 kill and the loot from that 1 Outlander.
Only worth camping if you see the airdrop running towards the exit you are near.
