One can view this devlog series in two ways: 1. You can watch and get discouraged and never go near three.js again.., OR 2. you can watch and get inspired. Please choose the 2.nd and get inspired. This is incredible work Bruno. And for what it is worth, i have been a thee.js-journey student for over a year now and i have nothing but praise for this course. The value lies ofcourse in the insane amount of hours packed with gold content, which gets regular updates and also HUGE updates..for free! I was ALMOST done with all of the videos, and was ready to get my diploma, then out of the blue, Bruno added 19 (!!!!) brand new videos to the course, just like.."there you go". It is SO worth the money, and now i am talking about price without it being on sale! BUT, it needs to be said that it is an incredible bonus to get to become a member of the discord course server as well which is filled with other students such as myself, helping eachother out and sharing knowledge. I believe i actually wrote a similar comment on your last sale, but i dont care, because this is important 😁 And people need to understand how a proper valuable course is done...and the three.js-journey course is insane.
Such a special gift you sharing a devlog (a part of your life) with us Bruno! As always, I wish you and your family much light (the BLOOM type) and love!
So prototype is so good at this early stage 😍 A "bug" in the shadows of the U Curve : when the car is approaching to the U curve, even if it's really slowly, the shadows appears in the viewport in a non realistic manner. Anyway lights, car and gameplay are already a banger!
Nice prototype! Would be useful if the camera zooms out when you speed up (so you can see where you're going), or at least show 2/3 of the map ahead instead of keeping the car centered.
It does, but I think it's not enough. Main issue is that I can't go to far away otherwise we notice the grass tricks and shadow map limit. I think I'll try to move the camera ahead instead.
Taking a page out of the nadeo handbook, would you consider adding other camera perspectives by clicking on the numpad? I know there are a bunch of performance considerations mainly for the grass since you're only creating a patch to cover the viewport, but I find myself wanting the have the camera stay behind the car. Looking awesome as always!
- What's the point of your video ? if we don't get the source code of the game engine. - Either be useful or stop. - Share the source code for people on github. - Be useful to people. - Support me people.
'It's just a prototype I put together in a weekend'... One hell of a prototype I'd say! Great stuff as always!

its good to have you back on yt bruno , i guess Boi is fully grown now ... hope he is fine too.
You are a legend!!
3D work is wonderful to look at
this so amazing, it's like creating a game engine... with a car!
It should be a crime this 7m video. I love to watch it and will have to wait another 2 weeks 😂
Mom! Wake up! Bruno uploaded new Devlog!
The game is amazing! Wonderful experience!
So prototype is so good at this early stage 😍

True, I need to figure out a solution without growing the shadow map too much, otherwise the shadow resolution would be too bad
I can see the progress is amazing but to be honest the od version is cuter more cartoonish
I am a student rn and waiting for the day i will be able to financial afford the 3 js journey course.. love your work as always
Your course is wildfire

I can be in this videos Devlog for hours
yo what kind of mind do you have? 🤯🤯
Is there any other person I should know just as master as you? Plz, Bruno reply to this! You're mad genius!
There are plenty!
I listed some of my favorites devlogs in the first episode ua-cam.com/video/n_l2UfrRwwc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BrunoSimon
@@BrunoSimon anyways you are hero!
i think its essential to have secret model unlockable if you think your portfolio as a game
superrrr cooool sir🤩🤩🤩🤩
here we go again. :)
Bought it, will finally start my journey with threejs, don't get out the idea out of my head to make a 3d game like Spyro the Dragon with webtech 😀
That's what I can call a wonderful discount code.. It came shipped with a game to unlock it.. well.. take my money !

Since I'm not using matcaps, I could consider it. But I really like to have the singe angle. I'll think about it.
sad i missed the promotion but great video
hi, instead of a blue shadow, you can use the oposite color of the floor, so even if you change the floor it will adapt the shadow
Tried that, go really weird colors. But I should try again. Maybe using luminance or something like that I could get a better result.
@@BrunoSimon look at "emma lefevre shadow opposite" its a short that explain the trick
Good morning
Mostly from Envato 👍
would make the arm on the car to move smoothly than rather snap to the next location
True. I actually wanted to articulate it, give it more life. But I realise I didn't have much time left and also it's so small 😅
Man, 7mins is not enough to enjoy this 😭
Yeah, this one was short. I'm actually glad I managed to do a small one and only spend 3 days on it so that I can keep on working on the portfolio 😅
@@BrunoSimon really enjoyed even the current prototype
love it ❤
I wanted to buy your course, but I can't get screen with payment options, also I live in Poland, maybe that's problem.
vpn ? you can direct contact him by mail instead of ytb comment
Sorry to hear about this issue.
Poland should be supported according to Stripe stripe.com/en-fr/global
Do you work with an artist for some illustrations of your cool games ?? :D
I like to do everything myself 🙌
@@BrunoSimon You are doing very well for the moment, good luck !!!!
It would be very cool if the "dark mode" would be that you ride on the moon.
Wow 😅
why the video is so dark.. need to brighten up mate..
Is it? Back video isn't important, so it's dark, but content should be full color
يا عمي كتب 3d صار ١٠٠ مرة وما وصلني الكورس ليش كل هالتعقيد حط الرابط تحت الفيديو وخلاص
