The title should be: "1 Hour of Feels"
It's awesome though :)
I knew I made a typo....
Gaming Ambience Hohoholyyy cow...that made my day :D
@@GamingAmbience Shepard... The feels. They're killing me.
Seeing this exchange, and the result, made my day :)

“Had to be me....
Someone else might have gotten it wrong.” -Mordin Solus
Still probably the hardest death for me.
Rest In Peace
When I got to that scene. I was so sad, like, my man Mordin really die. 😭
Allas, he died for nothing, fracking femshep internet fapboys never giving Andromeda a chance to become the next 1 st chapter in another great epic story. As if ME1 was that good without 2 and 3 and anyone except some fappers wanted the remastered version to see Mordin die in more detail :-( The online fuckers who killed Andromeda (yes it had it's flaws, but no more or less then ME 1) and ME moving forwards probably never seen him die curing the genophage, selfish renegade playthrough assholes
You never had to tell us who said it. We know.
... the first time I played Mass Effect 3, this beginning shocked me completely, and very much set the tone for all of ME3, to this day I still can not play ME3 without first going through 1 and 2
The way it was intended...
playing 3 before first going through 1 and 2 is illegal
@@Panem_V no it isn’t
@@robertbaratheon3137 it should be
Hoorah!
Not sure if turian heaven is the same as yours but you if this thing goes side ways and we both end up there... meet me at the bar
and shepard forgive for the insubordination but this old friend has a order for you... go out there and give them hell you where born to do this!
Damnit, this actually made me cry.
Shepard, forgive the insubordination, but your boyfriend has an order for you: Come back alive. It'd be an awfully empty galaxy without you.
"You did good son, I'm proud of you..."
"You did good child." Femshep all the way.
Saddest moment for me...but the game just couldn't get me to cry, even in my first playthrough.
I thought shepard was gonna cry to that, but instead I did. I didn't even play for 30 min after that. RIP Captain Anderson
Anderson was an amazing surrogate father for Shepard. It especially rings true when you chose the Earthborn background and you're an orphan. After all he sacrificed and went through, seeing him dying and not being able to see and live the future with his sweetheart (Kahlee Sanders) was really heartbroking. And this is all thanks to that Illusive Man clown!
@@BattlestarDamocles I find "FemShep" weird... Full respect to Mark Meer and those who brought "BroShep" to life... But, for me, Commander Shepard has always been--and wil always be--a (badass) woman. ;)
That three-note piano melody is still just absolutely haunting.
C.J. Jiuliante
Its even worse when your playing the game and you see everyone dying.
@@bobpaxe1291 i cant even play the games because of this music its so very deperessing
@@foxfru2266 yes it definitely makes playing difficult
It’s even more scary when you realize the notes together are Morse code for S.O.S.
@@CloneHomie Wait a minute, FOR REAL?!
The opening of Mass Effect 3 is my favorite opening ti any game ever. How frantic everything feels as the Alliance realizes the Reapers are here, and Shepard and Anderson running and fighting to her people to safety, ending off with everything slowing down from the frantic chaos to a slow, somber, emotionally heavy moment as Shepard watches the shuttle bet blown up, watches that child die, as Anderson decides to stay behind all top of with this beautiful piece of music. It’s absolutely brilliant
This scene was actually my favourite part of the game, I was very moved and everything in the game matches up perfectly to this music, most emotion I’ve felt in a game ever... I wish andromeda had the same quality but yeah. I guess ME3 was just unique.
@@scoso1313 ME 3 is a masterpiece !!!! Dont ever let anyone tell you different !
Andromeda will never be like the big threes.
@@rjforshort4415 True. It's still a decent game on its own. It'll just never be the Trilogy.
Well, if I ever feel the need to sob uncontrollably in the dark for an hour uninterrupted, at least I have a soundtrack for that.
Doing the same thing right now. It just hits so fucking hard.
0:00 from there on was really good

@@theshadowforger775 both of y'alls comments are just absolute gold ❤😂
@@theshadowforger775 yeah fuck 1:01:28 in particular
One thing that gets me most about this whole scene is those fireballs. Those fireballs are the bulk of the alliance navy, the largest, strongest force ever assembled by mankind. But they didn’t even slow the reapers down.
The leaving Earth scene does a really, really good job at giving the player a feeling of total helplessness.
Mass Effect, what have you done to me?! I hope Shepard returned to his sweet Tali. Actually, deep inside, I know this to be true. He rejoined Tali, his love and the best girl Mass Effect had to offer. After that, he went on that bar, finding Garrus waiting for him. They drank that beer they promissed each other and took another, final shooting contest. Shepard "missed" again, further proving that his buddy, Garrus, is still the best shot in the galaxy. Afterwards, he went on Tuchanka to visit his other bros, uncle Wrex and Shepard's hero, Grunt. Wrex and Grunt had a light sparring, hoping Shepard would finally decide who is the strongest of the two. Shepard watched and, after they were done, he bro hugged them and said: "I can't make up my mind, because you are both the same to me.". He also went to Earth to hear James calling him loco again and enjoy the banter between James and Steve Cortez. Then, tearfully, he reminded his great moments with Anderson, Kaidan, Legion, Mordin and Thane, knowing he will see them again in the afterlife. He also remebered Javik and was happy, knowing the last Prothean's spirit finally found peace among his people. After that, Shepard settled down with Tali on Rannoch, building Tali's dream house and living happily together, knowing they are what they are and they have achieved what they have achieved thanks to having eachother. Of course, Shepard and Tali bought another apartment on the Citadel and, every now and then, they would invite everyone (Garrus, Wrex, Grunt, James, Cortez, Jacob, Zaeed, Joker, Ashley, Liara, Jack, Miranda, Kasumi, Samara, Samantha, even Dr. Chakwas, Adams, Gabby, Kenneth, Kelly and, sometimes, Aria) over and throw memorable parties, each one lasting for a few days. Last, but not least, Shepard found a way to access the backup data on the Geth and EDI, smiling and hoping to see them again, someday. This is my canon ending. The best thing about Mass Effect is that you can imagine your own version of the story's ending. God, these games leave me speechless...
:'(
That sounds like Shepard’s personal heaven... I hope he’s at peace.
If you destroy the Reapers with a high score, you see Shepard breathing again in the rubble. So yeah, he or she should join back his or her sweetheart after the war. :) Unless they fuck up Mass Effect 4, that should be the case.
Bro.... U making me cray, I like ur cannon ending, I'm with u with this ending (°-°)
I like the way you see it...unfortunately I never could do it like you,but I guess everyone has a story that they would like to be shown and told...this is what Mass Effect is❤️
I was going to download this as sleepytime ambience music, because I remembered how much I liked the horns and calm, relaxing, piano.. Ah, this is just the thing I need to help me fall asl-- 25 second mark hits- **BWOOOOOOM.** Ah, right. I forgot about that part.
I did this for sleep music last night and basically cried myself to sleep lol.
Abit late to the party but uncharted worlds is amazing to fall asleep too
Nostalgia kicking in. When single player games like this were more common. One of the best video games franchises every made. Can't wait to play the Legendary Edition and experience this journey all over again in 4k!!!

I can't believe I haven't done this one yet. I decided to go with one view of the sky with space debris falling down rather than the chaos in the city mainly because I had already done an ambient version of all the chaos in the city a while ago.

The picture fully completes the tone of the music... it is beautifully sad and completely engulfing....
An hour of knowing the fate of Earth is sealed and there is absolutely nothing you can do to help, that is where true power resides.
Until 50 h later when You have done everything possible to fucking kill reapers. No scene has made me hate and antagonist even close to as much.

Stumbled upon this video... And I don't know if I want to "watch" (hear) it. Can I take the feels? My heart, mind, soul...and body. I can't remember a lot of "moments" having brought me to tears. Leaving Earth was one of the few that did...
I will give a like to this video and save it to "watch later" -- like, a few minutes later after writing this comment...
Before I even see/hear this, I thank you, expecting glorious...and wrenching emotions.
No matter how the trilogy ended, Commander Shephard's journey...yeah, helluva "journey". (*eyes welling up*)
Comandante Shepard regresa salva bioware.
Commander Shepard returns save bioware.
3 seconds in and it's tugging at my heart.
This channel is superb - please keep posting such great themes.
Stumbled across this .... it is time to play the greatest video game trilogy again ........ for the 6th time.
As usual ... Destruction ending. SPOILER ALERT: It is the only ending where Sheppard survives. Commander Sheppard will live on in every play through. Not all great stories have to end in the hero dying. It is an overdone trope designed to get cheap emotional responses from the fans.
Commander Sheppard is Mass Effect. Without him/her and you get Andromeda.
I feel like your just incapable of accepting the death of something and would just prefer stagnancy and mediocrity. If EA has any logic left in them they'll have the refusal ending be canon so they can use the Milky Way galaxy again and not have to think of another galaxy wide threat and just reuse the reapers. Or better yet, remake the trilogy and actually make the Reapers like in ME1 again.
@@pillarmenn1936 I feel like you are just a lemming that falls into the sad and played lazy writing trope of killing off the main character for cheap feels.
The Milky Way has 2 hundred billion stars. As if there would ever be a game that overused the galaxy we live in. Instead of finding a way to fix their biggest mistake. They moved to another galaxy to wash away their past transgressions. Talk about running away from their mistakes.
Very uncreative and absolutely sad ... like yourself. You douchebag
I'm writing this message, but tbh I don't really know why.. This music hit me, I'm kind of lost in my life these times, even if I make some things that help me to be proud of myself, it seems like I'm far that my full potential. And writing help me a bit I guess.
Even if it's just a video games, I found this curious that a story and a music can hit a human so hard. These times.. Our times.. this decade sucks, and that can be rude, but if the reaper can come rn or some random spaceshit positive or negative, I just want the mankind to be more intelligent and see other things than just themselves..
Men I'm writing so many bullshits ahah, I'm just sad and lost in my objectives, this music just hit me after all
Start of ME3 was great, but very sad, when you leave earth you just see alliance ships debris, exploding dreadnoughts, but not a single reaper destroyed, meaning reapers just blasted through alliance home fleet without trouble and just descended upon cities. Just shows off hopelessness as entire fleets just disappear without inflicting some kind of lossess.
Whilst you're fighting to get to the Normandy you literally see an Alliance dreadnought 1v1 a Reaper, getting obliterated and not even scratching the Reaper.
Can't wait for the remastered version!
The empty piano and haunting violin absolutely rip your heart out
There was a boy on earth, i had to watch him die while the normandy flee.
-Commander Shepard.
There I was, in my 19 years old, discovering Mass Effect. And here I am, 22, playing the triology again and crying again. Mass Effect changed my life, that I can say without any doubt.
same, out of all the characters ive played in games for some reason commander Shepard has always been on my mind
Same. Discovered this masterpiece in 17 and now just finished 5th playthrough in 21
I haven't played the games in years now, and the music most of all, is what I remember, how they impacted the scenes so much more.
Burning a good spot into my memory of epic gaming music and moments
The clash of the titans, PLING PLING PLONG against PANG PANG PANG
every time i listen i get sad this ride ended but feel happy that i experienced it. RIP Cmdr Shepard
He can survive But still he saved every living and not yet living beeing from beeing enslaved by the near unbeatable reapers that killed quadrillions of beeings over millions of years. This is if You destroy them otherwise you are imo ni better than saren or the illusive man. You sacrifice all synthetics yes But even the geth and edi would have because they knew that anything was better than beeing a slave to a machine.
Just finished my first playthrough. Absolutely loved experiencing every twist, and going through this story.
Lucky man. I wish i could play the trilogy for the first time again 😥
"...one hour of feels"
Ah yes, ME 3. The game that made me happy when it wanted me to be. The game that made me sad when it wanted me to be. The game that made me feel desperate when it wanted me to be.
After all this years I still get chills listening to this music.
And then came the last 15 minutes of the game... :(
Get the Expanded Galaxy Mod. Shepard is saved by the Normandy in it. And an Alliance Dreadnought covers them while they do.
what does 15min mean in tens of hours of gametime. Very little imo
The pain didn't hurt enough so I searched for the hour long version
True story of how Mass Effect came to existence. Bioware the developers of Knights of the Old Republic went to Lucasfilm games with a pitch for KoToR 3. Lucasfilm turned them down.
Left with a demo for KoToR 3 built in a new game engine with updated graphics and game mechanics. The creators decided they were not going to be deterred. Instead of scrapping their hard work they decided that instead of walking away feeling depressed that they lost the Star Wars licence. They decided that they were going to make their own Sci-Fi story that will rival Star Wars. And in many ways they achieved this when they came up with the idea of Mass Effect.
I can't wait til ME4. The world building Bioware did is unrivaled and there are so many possibilities when it comes to storytelling in this universe they created. Hopefully they do right with Mass Effect 4 and learned from the mistakes of Andromeda.
This is pure feels, no doubts...but the "once and for all" is the real "feels track" boys
This fits soo well with harvenger

I remember seeing the trailer for ME3 in the cinema and hearing that reaper sound shook me up, it was as if I was surrounded by them. It was amazing. I may not like the ending but all 3 mass effect games are indeed legendary.
I’ve only ever shed a tear at one video game, until tonight, when I saw this scene. This has to be one of the greatest trilogies I’ve ever played.
Can't wait for the remaster of the trilogy, they better not fuck it up!! 🙂

Holy fuck the feeling of not being able to save Earth is so fucking devastating. It's actually pretty overwhelming and I can only listen to this in spurts or ill have an emotional breakdown.
Man, it's Oct 17 2022 and I happen be just scrolling UA-cam and come across this video. It brought so many flashbacks of countless hours of game play in the ME Trilogy. It maybe would be best if a similar event would happen More so In the event an advanced, overwhelming extra terrestrial force would attack. Maybe then and only then, will we humans bury our stupidity and finally unite to some degree. 🌎👽🤝🌄
Nah bud. If climate change hasn't gotten people's heads out of their asses, I don't think anything will. And in real life, if a race that much more technologically advanced attacked us, we'd stand absolutely no chance. If they understand how to move things at light speed or speeds greater than light speed, it would be analogous to a bunch of ancient elite warriors from, say, Sparta, fighting a bunch of fully equipped modern day special forces soldiers. None of their tactics would work, and they'd lose to weapons they couldn't wrap their heads around before the shield wall even goes up. None would stand a chance

We'll be back!!! We must leave for allies and friends so hold on, stay strong and don't give up! We will be back with the biggest fleet in the Galaxy and more!!!! Goodbye.... *Ship jumps into FTL*
Mass Effect 3 started out with so much promise. It's incredibly dark and with killer tension - you see the Systems Alliance get curb stomped in minutes and then you escape to the Citadel to learn that the Turians are getting hammered. Everyone's in a panic and divided. The developers then ruin everything with the Deux Ex Machina Catalyst, which makes no sense. They were boxed in, of course, because in ME1 you learn that the galaxy has no hope of fighting the Reapers. Shepherd goes solo in trying to find a way - and this is built up all through ME1 & ME2. You enlist new allies (many of whom make their own preparations to confront the Reapers), study and archive new technology, build a peace with the Geth (with the possibility of combining scientific expertise), retrofit Reaper and Collector technology, begin to manipulate Mass Relays, found a Prothean prototype Relay, the beginnings of a genophage cure, etc. It would have been so much better if there was a third installment BEFORE the Reaper invasion, giving a 7-10 year stretch between the Battle of the Citadel and the Reaper swarm invasion of the humans and Batarians. The time period would have made it feasible to actually fight the Reapers (an Asari matriarch on Ilium talked about building Mass Relays which shows that it had been thought about, and with the Prothean prototype and the work done in ME2 the galaxy could have soon learned how to make their own and put themselves on an *almost equal* footing with the Reapers). Fully developing the genophage cure and producing an arsenal of hybrid Geth-Council weapons would have given the galaxy a hefty punch! Then the initial part of the Reaper invasion would have started mostly the same because they hit in force before the galaxy fully mobilized, but the game could draw upon what you did to determine how much resources you could use to hit back at the Reapers. And the game should have had an option where you simply lose, no matter what (for cases where you didn't successfully build up the galaxy's unity and scientific knowledge base), but also an option where you slug it out with the Reapers and destroy them. They could have used something like the Catalyst for middle ground scenarios (desperate straits). But having the only option for the game being throwing immense resources into something that the galactic scientific community did not know what it was or if it would even work was badly implausible, and it shoved you into making some awful pre-canned choices that weren't really yours.
Feel sorry for you and so many others, still hung up on the ending after all these years.
@@jlane-fc7yc - Oh, no. Not hung up. Too much to do in life to get hung up about much of anything. I said it wasted its potential. Big difference. And, in truth, it is hard to hit all the right notes three times in a row. Look at Star Wars. Tried to replicate the original trilogy twice; failed both times. That's how probability works.
