Turned in all my technical data yesterday, took a while - but it leveled up quite a few times. Thought about doing the treasure/prospecting maps, but without F.O.1'st - the ore/material will just bug me down, so thanks for this - sounds fun, for a while :ø)
I'm still a fan of expeditions. I hang out at a train station then just run Tax Evasion or the race numerous times. Sometimes I get good loot but I normally just scrap everything and script, sell extras. If I get things that lower levels can use I drop them in the red box.
@dynastyjumpzz there was another user who removed his post about being level 6000, pretty sure that's what he was replying to. Believe you top out in the 32,000 range.
This is tedious work, as well as doing the technical document quest, which helped me a great deal on the current scoreboard, and I am currently saving up as many as I can for the next one. However, I think it's easier just to go to West Tek, or one of the Atlantic City expeditions where you can have an endless battle against the Overgrown, as long as you don't pick up the documents they drop.
@slantera Yeah, it was patched in the first small update a week or so after the update. Then, the next small update patched the glitch where you could take the weapon from the mortars when you get that objective in one of the Atlantic City expeditions. Bethesda always has to ruin our fun, but then completely ignores massive exploits like the power armor dupe that's been active for well over a year now lol
If it used only steel, then I would say yeah that’s great but lead and nuclear waste kind of hit you because generally people don’t have an abundance of that but if you’ve got fallout first, you’ve probably got more steel than you know what to do with in your scrap box. West tek farming with the Nuka grenades is still the way to go I think.
Another Suggestion for West-Tek with 2 players: each team member throws just 1 Nuka-Grenade in the Research Wing, then go outside and switch Leadership to skip the 1 Minute refresh. Complete cycle took me less then 2 minutes and is easier to repeat (I did this even with a random lvl 50 player).
u could also alternatively just go in solo and throw 3 nades to kill all the guys in west tek then go down the elevator kill the ones down there and come back up and it auto resets without having to wait.
Just taking a moment here in the beginning seconds of the video to reply and say no, unfortunately, I am most certainly not getting a lot of fasnacht masks. Pretty sure I could just be a fasnacht skeleton about 30 times over.
if u have 51 Int and 4 lunch boxes active u will get less than 2k xp for 19 crafted. Just a heads up ull need full Uny + 1 int and full food buffs to come close to whats in the video.
I have much ressources but yeah I would say not to do this it cost too much so West Tek sadly still the best way (wish Bethesda would add something new )
So if you first waste money on Fallout 1st and then also waste time collecting the boatload of materials needed then you can quickly rank up the scoreboard.
I've known about the cores for a while, it's a good way to level up mules granted you have the materials to lose. I've had two glowing masks drop and traded for two also, but still missing the Sbq, my wife hasn't had a single rare mask drop yet this fasnacht
My wife got 8 glowing masks. 1 full set and a few repeats. I didn't get a single one. Did get a full set of last year's rare masks so not too shabby and she's given me her spare queen which was all I wanted anyway 👍

Can't you do this on a custom server with unlimited materials? You wouldn't keep character level ranks, but I believe it still counts toward the season rewards.
I’ve ignition cored alot. I’d say it’s only worth it if your wealthy on nuclear material and steel. I used a 3rd party software to craft them for me if your crafting legit it can be very fatiguing.
I got lots of steel and nuclear materials but barely any lead nor any friends to run West Tek as the other option to level up a new toon fast.... Damn! 🤕

It's so funny, when I see players over 3,000. I've been playing since release on a regular basis, and I have my levels spread over 3 characters. The main one is my Heavy Gun build, and is at 1,076, Pistol built is 340, and Rifleman is 380. If I had just stuck with one build, I'd be at 1,796. Now granted, I stopped running West Tek when I reached level 50, because that was the key level, that I wanted to get to, so I could really get into playing the game. If I had kept it up, I'd be at an insane level as well. But... I like to play the game, not walk around with this high level badge of honor, LOL! It's hilarious, when I run across extremely high level players, asking me how to do quests, that should've been done when they were around level 100, and they're level 6,000 and up, LOL! Just last week, I had to show a level 8,600, how to complete Belly of the Beast...
I haven't touched FO76 in years, last time was the Settlers update iirc. But this feels like an odd spot for EXP: 1) Can't use it early as you won't have the supplies 2) Mid game feels like you be better off focusing on story missions so you can unlock stuff to do late game 3) Late game leveling matters far less since you max your build at 120 iirc? After 120 it's purely just for the cards you might need for ironing out a build So idk, maybe the game has changed so much that this is more viable then it looks, but last i remember playing I didn't have anywhere near that junk material amount yet was level 200+

Wellaybe if i need a final push over after grinding Westtek but all the grind for that material?? Not sure i mean run through westtek and look how much material you can loot in an hour, i bet its still far less as you need for one level if you even get radioactive material.

I loot every enemy and kill every enemy and I pick up 90% of all junk in the world and I don't have 4K nuclear waste so how is regular people without FO1st going to hold that much in their stash? where would you farm nuclear waste? Steel and lead is in almost all junk. And thats the numbers with every XP buff that most will have about 10% at most XP buff so how much with no buffs ? So yeah to time consuming just to get the materials.
I tried the west tek run a few times the other day I'm level 115 and it didn't seem that great is it only good at higher levels or is it just that I don't have access to all the xp buffs
Just play the game and you level fine, and actually learn how the game works You spot WestTek high level players a mile off in events... all the gear and no idea
Fallout 1st lets you use a Scrapbox and Ammobox that both have infinite storage space. Doesn't let you store stuff like circuit boards or things like that but will break them down into the base parts. So bulk things like copper, screws, etc. Then the ammo box just holds anything that's ammunition besides cores. Sucks it's payed only but if you do play when they do the free Fallout 1st months you can get and use them. And anything in them after you lose the month will stay and be usable still, just can't store without membership. Keep an out for the free 1st months and stock up! That's what I did and I've still got well over 20k of some stuff like steel scrap.

I think it’s a really good leveling up method. The only thing is, is you got to do a bunch of the treasure maps to get the resources or farm them.

Takes a while is an understatement 😂 Especially if you do one at a time ( that is the best rewards ) i gave myself a 30 data limit lol
You can also use nuka cade points to buy nuka nades once you have nothing left to use them on.

The amount of steel, lead, and nuclear material are absolutely absurd. The RMT value would be like 80$ in materials to do a scoreboard.

I've hit level 230 on the last couple scoreboards just doing day and week challenges with only the occasional food buff.
Dam i would love that xp as no matter what buffs i use i never get more than 500 each kill.

Super Dupa Lucky stat perk card level 3 has a 30% chance to craft double items. So more XP when proks.

I used most food and chems, slept and used the boost xp derby thing and it still took me 85 cores to get 4K xp no idea how you got so little

Nope, play however you like :). Some people like to gain levels, some would rather adventure. Big differences in perks.

If you use a plasma weap, you got nuclear mat. on almost every enemy drop.
