    This is inspirational. I been messing with reels a bit and the engagement is so mad compared to regular posts. The thing about re using beats for different types of Instagram content was a major gem 💎

      I feel the same - the results I've gotten organically from Reels have been better than anything else I've experienced in my entire producing career - even through paid ads.

    Here is my story, i submitted my beats to an 1 million subscriber channel called Rujay. They liked my music so I got a contract with them. They have really large amount of customers so I get decent sales with them. One day a guy who bought my beats from Rujay reached out to me and signed me to his record label with advance $20000 plus bonus if songs hit the chart. Now I have only 500 subscribers on youtube but I’m already be able to quit my job and make beats full time. So never hesitate to put your stuffs out there. Keep grinding and one day u will make it

    Do you think the IG reels approach can also be done on Tik Tok or different platforms = different rules?
    Also I couldn’t find the link to the IG guide in your description?

    • @omitobeats2
      @omitobeats2  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks man!
      I definitely think the IG Reels approach can be done on other platforms, but I think right now the advantage that IG Reels has over TikTok is that it's more "new". I think since it's more new of a platform than TikTok Instagram is eager to grow the amount of users creating content on the platform & will reward content creators by showing their videos to more users. I think that's what happened in the early stages of TikTok too. Same thing. Just my experience anyways.
      Here's the link to the guide, I'll update that in the description! omitobeats.podia.com/how-i-edit-my-reels-for-instagram

      A few different places! Instagram & UA-cam are definitely the biggest sources of traffic/sales for me. BeatStars has been pretty good too. I also make sure that I'm available through email, Facebook Messenger, texting, and Instagram DMs since people might message me there to buy beats.

    Can you please show how you screen record your tracks and music

    • @omitobeats2
      @omitobeats2  2 роки тому +1

      For UA-cam I don't do much! I use OBS screen recording software and it records FL Studio really easily. I use FL Studio ASIO driver in FL and it seems to work fine without lag. On my old PC it used to give me too much lag, but for whatever reason on my new laptop it works fine. I guess having the most up-to-date software/drivers will help.

      I feel you man, in 2021 I only made 130 beats and I just can’t imagine where I’d be if I had posted them.
      Yeah 130 is not a lot to me but it depends on many things. Some months Id make just 2, other months 24…
      And even though my studies are about music I never had the courage to publish anything or to stay consistent with my craft. Right now I’m focusing on building this discipline of sticking to habits towards music production and I know it’s worth it.
      My advice is, if you can stick to a plan and create habits of showing up to practice every day, do it NOW before you lose any more time.

    • @omitobeats2
      @omitobeats2  2 роки тому +2

      I checked out your profile and was listening to some of your beats - I'm not an expert on the whole putting beats as "FREE" technique on UA-cam... can you tell if people are downloading them at least?
      I found your pricing options just a bit confusing too. I saw your lowest pricing tier is a "premium" license for $50 but I feel like there's Artists out there who are looking for "basic" licenses with less of a cost. Even though this Premium tier might be basic to you I think someone might find it too advanced for them. Just my opinion.
      I see you're uploading a few times a week, but is it worth thinking about uploading less beats, but better quality? Like quality over quantity type thing. I wouldn't push myself to upload so many beats, but maybe spend more time promoting your best beats? I talked in this video how I figured out my best-selling beat and tried to duplicate that process, and I also spent a ton of time promoting that one single beat that was doing better, which led to more sales on other beats

      @@omitobeats2 Bruh im new to this whole thing i just started making beats this summer, anyways from what i've seen seemed like starting a type beat channel with free beats was the "wave" or so i thought.... I have few free downloads yeah but no one bought anything yet. And about the pricing i had also basic 30 $ mp3 lease but removed it trying to simplify my pricing any tips on that would be apreciated.... And also im pushing my self to upload for the main purpose of getting better and i figure there is no point of just making beats that sit on my pc.... And yeah thats my next step after i sort out my design etc... im planning on getting into paid ads or something... anyways thanks for the replay man and for checking out u a real one 🙏🏽

    • @omitobeats2
      @omitobeats2  2 роки тому +1

      I feel you with that whole free beats being the wave, I never did it though because I thought it confuses buyers 🤣 Like I said I'm not an expert on it but in my opinion it seems like it can be better for getting views but not immediate sales 🤷‍♂️ just my opinion though
      For pricing I'd say try to make sure that someone with absolute zero knowledge of buying beats can understand your licensing options. I asked my friends who aren't rappers or producers to try and navigate my website and I used their feedback to simplify my license options. I still get people to this day who message me that they've never bought a beat before, so I want to make sure the checkout process is easy for them.
      I saw you did this drill remix recently too on Instagram. I think creative content like that is going to be the next wave - something "viral" that brings people to your page & then you convert them through beat sales.
      Keep at it man! The first year I started selling beats I think I only sold maybe 5 beats at most, and that was a few years after I was actually producing too. I'm sure you can excel past where I was in a shorter period of time though 💪
