Finallyyyy someone has said what i wanted to hear.. Btw The complex equation a miner needs to solve is basically a hash of all the block elements along with a nonce (only thing you can use to solve the difficulty)

In simple terms smart contract is just an executable code which has your business logic programmed. If you want any check before transaction you can achieve this through smart contract.

For proof of stake, however: You do provide the stake in the form of native token. So yes, on ETH2, ETH is staked on ETH2 network. If you lie, your staked ETH will be burnt. If you're honest, you'll get a small reward in form of ETH.
Major advantage of POS is that since the stake comes from native token, and not from computational power, it's very scalable compared to POW.
The major disadvantage is that since the "skin in the game" comes from the native token, and not from an economic costs incurred outside of the network, this is akin to a snake eating its own tail.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are secured via external costs in the form of hardware and energy.
Ethereum 2 is secured via the value/price of ETH tokens, hence the skin in the game comes internally.
I think POW is proven & more secure.
Just my 2 cents.

Miners are not at liberty to pick high fee transactions from a memory pool. It's the weight of the transaction that automatically gets forwarded due to its numerical value per byte of data transmutation in a particular block chain transaction. Blockchain is simply a big register that stores addresses and assigned values to a register ( address, balance) .
As far as side chains are concerned, they are additional registers using better database registry. BTC uses LevelDB and it is terribly slow and insanely big.
Super talk in terms of understanding the technology!!....... but still seem like a no go area for small investor in Pakistan!! ....@Muzamil Hasan please do some talk on how a small investor can jump into cryptos?

Good conversation, Crypto market is not just limit to trading, The technology behind cryptocurrencies can change the financial institutions for ever. Including banking system and global payments. The blockchain and cryptocurrencies are still very young and it doesn't have real world practical applications which can be applied to the masses yet.
And for centralised blockchain infrastructure there is company which recently built a blockchian i.e Internet Computer (ICP). On which hopefully we will able to build facebook and instagram like apps.

I have a question that GFX cards are primarily used for graphic/animation related work like games etc. Aren't there some other machines that can be good at solving mathematical equations? Why are GFX cards used for solving complex mathematical equations?
Because games inherently have a lot of underlying mathematic to represent the graphical logic that the end user eventually sees. They’re built to solve math problems. One of their use cases is graphics and games, the other is blockchain.

in PC gaming and building community there's a huge shortage of graphics card. gamers blame that this is because of crypto miners , because they buy graphics card in bulk and prices goes high just like rocket .

yes it is actually a problem and not a small one....every country has affected by miners and mining facilities but most affected are developing countries where people use to buy used PCs and graphic cards and now Graphic card prices are going up day by day. you cant even find graphic cards in most of computer shops...jis se pocho kehte hain aik larka aaya tha saary graphic card le gya hai and aur zyada ka order de gya ha (true story) and now every one wants to get on that mining game.
