@BayouBeezy her show’s better in place of The Jump, but these unforced/unfiltered sitdown conversations are worth more than any 2-3 min cutdown or segment ESPN can have
Lol I highly disagree , she’s annoying. She sounds like every single fox news reporter you see out there. Idk what it is but I just can’t stand that girls voice.
It is amazing to me that these sports institutions with huge bankrolls (e.g., ESPN) do such a horrid job covering sports. I think it starts with the executives and a general disdain for their product (that being our eyeballs) which they sell to advertisers. Content to draw eyeballs is largely shaped by engagement-based metrics and that leads to the silliest content (i.e., grown men yelling over each other about who the "GOAT" is, Lebron or MJ). These podcasts are a breath of fresh air in comparison.
Such a fun likeable guy. Throughout his rehab he was the greatest cheer leader on the bench. Can't understand all the hate on him. He's playing well and returning to form.
@@keithmoriyama5421 he's apparently a really boring player to watch, and that criticism is just dumb to me. he's very nice, both personality and playing style.
@@keithmoriyama5421 Yeah he's an awesome guy to root for. He went from a guy considered picked too high at pick 26, to being a second option on a championship team, all-star and an All NBA player. He's also constantly reiterated how much he loves Toronto and everyone on the team seems to love him, but it's funny how quick fans will turn on a guy after 1 rough season under insane circumstances.
This is my first time really hearing, Pascal talk indepth about his journey and experiences in the NBA, he seems like a coo,l humble, down to earth guy.
Props to the Raptors for drafting the only player from the 2016 Draft to make it to both the All-star and All-NBA teams, aside from Ben Simmons 1. The other all-stars from this class include Sabonis 11, Brown 3, and Ingram 2. Notably, Hield 6 and Rookie of the Year Winner Brogdan 36 have yet to make a single All-star appearance. Comparing their entire careers, Brogdan has arguably had the brightest statistical years as he is on pace to repeat last year's 21/5/5 averages in Indiana. Ben Simmons (14.7%), remarkably, is not the worst 3-point shooter in his class with at least 10 attempts. That title belongs to Zubac (10%) and Qi (10.5%). The greatest 3-point shooter from this draft class, of course, is Hield with 40.3% with 1241 made, which is good for 70th All-time.
Yah, Brogdon is basically at a Mike Conley level now, solid leader and floor general, but won't put up quite good enough numbers or win enough to be an All Star nominee, and also he's about to be 29 funny enough
He started because we had injuries and lack of depth to start the season in his first year. He also got sent to the G-League to give him a lot more opportunity to play meaningful minutes and valued practice.
From what I remember, it was moreso a lack of depth. Luis Scola went to Brooklyn that year and Patrick Patterson wasn't playing the best. They ended up getting Ibaka before the deadline who replaced him in the lineup for the rest of the year alongside Jonas, Demarre Carrol, DeRozan, and Lowry
@@jesses5465 that was later on in the year. They traded Sullinger and 2 second round draft picks for him. Not great a great trade looking back considering Tucker left in the offseason and they got swept by the Cavs in the playoffs

This guy needs to learn humbleness he wasn't good in the beginning that's how he argued with his coach last season cos he was benched in the 4th quarter. Good for him that he worked hard to get to this point
What? Why's he acting so entitled? He wasn't a projected lottery pick. He was late first to second...I don't understand why he's acting disrespected. And why is he disrespecting the group he worked out with? Man that money got to his head
As a raptor fan -- can somone please ask Pascal to get back in the gym and grab some focus/intensity ? Barnes & Boucher are both better/more valuable than him at the moment.
Everyone goes through waves my friend, at the lowest he's a good trade asset, at the highest he's a good piece. Let's just let whichever happen, instead of dragging him down.
You clearly don’t watch the games if you think Boucher has been more valuable. He’s been terrible this season. Pascal has been playing great idk what you’re talking about
