But as the song goes, we were "Stuck Like Glue". Nobody and no boundary could keep us apart. I told him once we were going to destroy each other or save each other, we did both. The last year was the best we had. Of course at the moment everything seemed so perfect and bright, life throws us the curveball of cancer. Within a month of being diagnosed he was gone. Devastation dose not begin to explain how I feel. At his funeral I somehow keept it together. At the end of the service they were playing the traditional music, and all that was good, but I got up and told the director that we are changing it up a bit. And suddenly "Stuck like Glue" was playing loud throughout the building. I danced and sang with my sweet love once last time. The room was filled with absolute joy! It was such a moment we got, I don't have words to describe. Of course there were a few traditional old church ladies that got up and left. I kindly thanked them for comming. And I kindly thank "Sugarland" for this and all your music. You brought life back to me just enough to keepe going. THANK YOU!!!
