Svalbard Polar Bear Mating

This video about polar mating took place over several days and is a rare sighting. My two-week journey with Waterproof Cruises & Expeditions in the Arctic Circle off the coast of Spitsbergen aboard the Vestland Explorer in June 2023 with Rinie van Meurs as the lead expedition guide was unimaginable.
I will create other videos in the series such as the life of a cub. I learned some details after creating this video that I can not share specifics with you, but can generalize. If you are interested in polar bears, then it is worth noting that much of the research has taken place in the several years.
I was very lucky on this trip to have an animal behaviorist aboard. I am researching more information because of her that I can share without breaking her trust.
I will make some documentary videos about my polar bear observations in Svalbard.
I was not asked or paid to make this video. I plan to make a video discussing how Waterproof Expeditions and Rinie made this a trip of a lifetime to 100 guests even though there were only 12 guests on our ship that day. I admire that polar bears enter the cold water! 🩵😮🥶🥶 The scenes that the polar bear was eating some animal, and the babies polar bear are the best for me. :)

Yes, we need dry suits and warm clothes for this. In a few months you may have admiration for me because I will enter the cold water to snorkel with whales. The scenes you describe were great for me as well. I will make a video about the baby polar bears soon. You will find it more amazing than you are currently seeing.
