I agree, I've had my "Laptop Conga" for a couple of years and I love it. You can get a lot of great sounds from it. And the portability is great too. I've recently been using it to join in "open mic" type music sessions held in local bars and it always gets great reactions. It also often prompts a lot of interest and curiosity from the audience too, usually people want to know what itbis, and suchlike. It's a really great way to get conga sounds, without lugging around huge drums. Thanks to the design/production team at Latin percussion, the Laptop Conga is a real gem.
@@wtfpercussion I'd never heard of Valter Percussion before, I've just been taking a look at their Website/products, SO many great products. I'm loving the Uludu and the Drop Drum already. Thanks very much for the information, much appreciated.

Secondo il mio modesto parere, al quale tengo moltissimo, nonostante non sia necessariamente condivisibile come questo commento, alcuni mobiletti dell’Ikea costano meno e suonano meglio.

It's actually very good, and way smaller, lighter and far more portable than actual Congas, but yes of course there's a trade off/compromise. I use mine for small impromptu gigs in local bars, I literally just throw it over my shoulder using the "knee strap" to carry it around and hop on a bus into town. There's no way I could be as mobile and as easy to just set up in a crowded bar as that if I was using full size Congas.
One of the best LP products of all time

@@Spandex_PlanetIt is designed by Valter Kinbom of Valter Percussion though, not LP!
@wtfpercussion ok, I didn't know that, but it is an LP product, either ways

Amazing Product from LP!
Recently bought 1 and got Addicted to it.
LP is the Best!
Tanmoy Banerjee Well, maybe ’Valter (kinbom) Percussion’ is even better then!
;-)
Well tronque for Ur Information, this product has been designed by Mr. Valder!
How do you like it 6 years later?

I just got one of these a few weeks ago, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
😎
@@LPYT I want to know how they made it sound so much like real congas.
Also, even after getting it, I still like watching videos about it.
Hello, It's the player and a couple of microphones. 🥁
@@LPYT I forgot to mention this, but I'm especially wondering what they did to create the high and low pitches.
You can also eat your lunch off it in front of the TV.
Just be careful not to get your lunch on it.
Great instrument. Lots of fun to play.

sounds great
Has a bag been made for this?
Hi, I bought LP1436 and LP1429; can you tell me if there is stand for this product; I'd like to play both at the same time. Thanks
I saw people adapting a snare drum stand for the conga. Cheers.
Sounds like great jungle drums.

a parte che hai scritto una supercazzola incredibile ma comunque suona molto bene
@@lucacutillidrums supercazzola fino a un certo punto, con un pochi euro investiti in compensato da modellismo...

Or just play some congas. Honestly I don't hear that 'ping' sound that you get from a tight, thin skin.
Its cheapest, lees heavy, smaller… more for practicing rithims or jammings i think
