I think he meant actually ...the reason why he married her in such a hurry was not that he loved her, ...he always loved her though he kept denying...we have seen how her images kept flashing before his eyes all the time , his long and intense stares speak it all...we saw how the fact that she would leave for Lucknow disturbed him so much ...the teej celebration at the temple , diwali ....so many are there, he was struggling hard all the while to negate these feelings but he fell more and more for Khusi...he had even kept the pieces of moti in his cupboard, her payal and the open display of affection during Payal wedding preparation. when Lavanya first moved to Raizada house, the image of khusi was in his mind ....he was shattered and broken and hurt when he married Khusi ...but with time he started realizing she was innocent and her goodness the suppressed feeling of love resurfaced and he understood how deeply he loved her
