Definitely think you should focus on becoming a road runner, run to get cash&prizes&vouchers and make the sport work for you. On the side you should offer coaching(at reasonable rate) and see where it might take you... that way you are both giving and helping the sport while becoming the best version of yourself. Your Dad by the way is brilliant, you can see he is a very mature man and coach!
Love the 203 vids for selfish reasons, you always manage to capture some of my favorite parts of the area. Hope you and your family are well, and had a great Thanksgiving! Awesome to see you getting stronger Spence, a lot of us are still out here rooting for you! (Also how's big Trev, haven't seen him in a while! At least we got the Camerawoman Larkin cameo)
Totally o/t, but I love that there are clear To Kill a Mockingbird fans in your family 😊. Great effort!! Love your dad's approach to coaching--a good blend of praise/positivity and constructive criticism. Looking forward to see how your progress with him continues.
Awesome Spencer! Congrats.. You ran a great race. Allie good to see you also.. maybe a vid when you have time as just a really short update? No biggie but be cool to see how you are doing run wise. Spencer so glad your dad is a part of what you are doing. Seems like a super positive part of your life. Happy belated Thanksgiving. Keep up the good work.
Dude awesome race. I get the feeling that your dad will never be truly happy with your running. You ran 24:19 that's flying and your dad is talking about how you should be able to go sub 24. While this is true he just doesn't seem super enthusiastic with that super awesome performance.
Its because spencer is a professional caliber runner, and his dad knows that. While sub 24 might be an outstanding time relative to us people, he really is capable of a lot more assuming his training shifts as his dad wants it to. It also seemed like he was moreso talking about future progression beyond his current level and not that the race wasnt fast enough
dog you should start doing road races more. more chances at cash prizes and more racing opportunities. I think you have way more potential on the roads than on the track in the 15, but I could be wrong.
Garmin sponsor seems like a big deal, congrats on that and the good race.
Spencer’s dad: has three jackets on
Also Spencer’s dad: “it’s warmer than I thought it would be”

Solid splits, great finish.

Have been anticipating the vlog. Congratulations on the the time and effort!!
Garmin! Love my Garmin Forerunner 235. I’ve had it 4 years, abused if a lot and no problems. Congrats on the great race! Keep on going!

Allie rockin the Julien Flores ❤️ and sole NM shirt for the win!!
I love seeing that time 24:19 my friend keep up the work, great inspiration for other people running
Those splits are fire!!! Spence you are legit man.
Dang I guessed 24:10, though I could still you running that soon since you have so much room to improve
thats just 2 seconds per mile i think he has more potential than that for next time
Spens got the goat sponsor Garmin 💪
I've said before that I think this dude will do better at road racing than the track
Great run, love your dad and great to see Allie O
You had a great time! #Strava
You look like you have improved.
Suddenly I’m more inclined to get rid of my Apple Watch and get a garmin
man boo reminds me so much of scout ahhhh
When is your next race on the East Coast. When you announce it you should consider doing a pre-race with your fans or a post race run with your fans.
so happy for you Spencer keep up the great work
Let's go Spence!!

Good running!
Looked very good- if you listen to your dad and keep training hard, while staying healthy - you will definitely run 23:45 or better by next year!
Hey Spence great race! Was the course flat or were there hills?

@@bigboy8474 Agreed, he's obviously going to be proud, but as a coach he also has to hold him to a professional standard
What happened with scout? Good race btw
She passed away November 2020❤️ 15 and a half years young!
@@Larkbrown328 😢😢😢 man I’m sorry

Imagine pulling up to your local turkey trot and see a sub 4 miler on the line.
Good ass race

Spencer goes 23:58 in Nike, Adidas or Asics super shoes. Those Brooks are a dud...
