Went there on April 14, 15 2010 to wrap up my California-Nevada US trip. It sure changed a lot compared to when I was there and T2-3D: Battle Across Time is still on alongside The Blue Brothers live shows. Easily the highlight of my only US Trip even though I got sick like half the time during the trip. Good to see that Jurassic Park: The Ride is still there and just simply upgraded and rebranded as Jurassic World, I loved that ride as it wasn't too intense or vomit inducing, just slow build up and a big drop at the end. I remember that the animatronics at that time doesn't work right as I noticed from my two rides, one ride they almost won't completely work, and T-Rex just don't work and the next day only half of the animatronics worked properly. Shame about the food prices though it simply more than doubled the price I paid for the meals at Mel's Diner in 2010.
Me too, I was there in back in 1988 when the live stunt show was Miami Vice if I remember it correctly and the action live show was Conan the Barbarian. It also had E.T and Star Trek and when you went on the tour ride you got a huge version of King Kongs face and arms which pulled the strings holding the bridge you were going on and it made the bridge cringe while you're on it. It was great! It is still the same with Bates Motel, Jaws , the Psycho House and the water flooding. But a lot has changed as well.
@@themepark101 The Orlando video released 2 years ago and is outdated. You sure you aren’t doing an updated version to include Pipeline and Penguin Trek?
Can you please tell which rides will be suitable for senior citizens without any mobility issues but want to avoid too much jerky movements and jump scares. Thank you!
I went on Halloween horror nights and I was seven years old you have to go to Halloween horror nights in the night it’s spooky but I wasn’t scared it was fun.
Though the theme park itself doesn't require reservations, access to the Super Nintendo World area may be limited via a virtual queue on the busiest days.
I am gonna be there this month... went to Universal Studios Singapore last year... this seems alot different and fun... Thanks for the video.. made my plan 🤠
If you pay for the express ticket it is more possible to visit everything! If you pay for the general pass, for some lines maybe you have to wait between 2-3 hours
How many minutes on an average day do you think the line for the Harry Potter rides would be? Also does the studio tour come with the general admission, or is it sold separately? Great guide by the way
Studio Tour is included. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey would be between 60-120 mins and the Flight of the Hippogriff is a little less, around 40-60 mins.
What is your budget for going? I want to go with my girlfriend and I’m trying to get an idea of how much the whole trip will be and what hotel we will stay at etc
@@themepark101And that is for the cheap entrance! If you want to see all the attractions without having to wait in line for hours, it's better to pay for the express ticket, which is 100 dollars more, in total approximately 250 per ticket.
@ $400USD per person. It also includes breakfast, buffet lunch, free ice water all day, valet parking, and unlimited express pass if you decide to visit attractions before or after the time with the guide is up. The guide was with us for about 6 hours.
Going first week of september(tuesday) so dont have to worry about crowds. Haven been there since 1994

I’m about to go today for the first time and this video was super helpful on making my decision to go 👍🏽
Glad I could help!
Im going in a couple days and these tips rlly helped i wrote all of them on a paper as a “map” thx
This Place Looks like Fun. I Once Went There A Long time ago.
Awesome. Has it changed much from when you last visited?

Hey even my family is going to LA
Is one day enough to explore all of it?
As long as it's not during peak time or weekend. You should be fine! 😁
Nope
If you have express and/or super nintendo world early access
Have you ever thought about doing a SeaWorld Attraction Guide?
I have one for Seaworld in Orlando, but not San Diego yet. It should be coming later in the year.
@@themepark101 The Orlando video released 2 years ago and is outdated. You sure you aren’t doing an updated version to include Pipeline and Penguin Trek?
don't worry, a 2024 update is on the list!😁@@tyrannoyoshi

How many minutes is the waiting time for the rides? I am planning to go on next tuesday
It depends which attraction. Usually between 10-40 mins per attraction with Mario Kart and The Simpsons Ride usually the longest.
LA❤
So to go into Nintendo world we have to reserve it? If not we can’t go in there?
Though the theme park itself doesn't require reservations, access to the Super Nintendo World area may be limited via a virtual queue on the busiest days.
We just went straight there first thing in the morning and got in just fine with no reservation
What are the crowds like in the end of January? I’m visiting America for the first time from Australia next year late Jan & Early Feb 😊
Late Jan- Early Feb is actually quite quiet. I would still avoid weekends, but any weekday should be fine! 😁
Any idea what times the bus runs to go up the universal studios hill? Last time I walked that hill was torturous 😢
I'm going this month!
How much a single pass ir I buy the ticket there and not by internet? Thanks
$169 on the gate price.
I am gonna be there this month... went to Universal Studios Singapore last year... this seems alot different and fun... Thanks for the video.. made my plan 🤠
Hope you enjoy it!
The Epic universe will be crazy
Can u still see the Nope studio lot?
Jupiters clam :0
Can all attractions be visited in one day or is that impossible?
It's definitely doable. Just avoid weekends and holidays, and make sure you arrive 30 mins before opening time to make the most of your day!
If you pay for the express ticket it is more possible to visit everything!

Forbidden Journey also has a single rider that's usually at half or less the standard wait time.
The ticket include show and rides too. Only pay foods or something
That is correct.
Thanks for this video, helps us prepare for our trip in July
Glad it was helpful! Hope you have an awesome trip! 😁

How much is the entrance
It ranges from $109 to $154 depending on the day.

Did the VIP and it was well worth it.
Express pass?
@@themepark101it is the guided tour with front of the line access. We skipped a lot of lines including express pass lines.
@@Doodleman2020 Awesome. Can I ask how much it cost?

The mummy ride, does it have loopings and all that ?
No inversions. Just fire, bugs and Imhotep!
Que son las 4 últimas letras de estudios ? ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Mario ride was disappointing.
Yupp
Not really
I haven’t ridden it but when I saw it was a slow ride my first thought was like “wow how can they mess that up?!” It should’ve been a roller coaster.
I enjoyed the queue more than the ride itself. Plus it’s always 60 plus min wait doesn’t matter the day or time
I think if I didnt wait 2 hrs in the line I would have liked it more 😂
Universal studio worth investment both as college , film studio special effect plus tourist theme park
I’m going there with my bf in September :)
The song?
I'm going in 2 days for my first time
Awesome. I'm sure you're well excited. Hope you have a great day!
McKenzie Hills
No offense, but your voice sounds like Piff the Magic Dragon 🐉 big fan!
How much is power up band?
They cost $42 + Tax, but are a great way to enjoy the land and a nice memento that can be used again and again! 😁
