Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

He was such a great guy. You could tell he really took his job seriously, but with good reason. May he rest in peace.

My favourite H moments were those where he gets angry when the people he’s’ just saved and explained the danger and flags to who immediately return to the exact place they’ve just been rescued from.

I’m now 62 and from the Northeast of England. I went from junior lifeguard to adult lifeguard at Sandhaven Beach where the currents were sometimes horrendous. The majority of people getting into difficulties in the water were mainly holiday makers and people who had little experience of the sea.

I get his frustration completely! A five year old , yeah. I would understand that but grown ups? Taking resources away from others who might seriously need them and Not listening to the lifeguards ( who are the ones who have the most knowledge about the beaches and currents!) is just plain idiocy at its best!

Allowing people to repeatedly put themselves in danger by ignoring the flags is not the actions if a good employee! Police are soon called to those ignoring the no alcohol rule or stealing property so why do those ignoring the flags escape sanctions? What if a lifeguard suffered serious injury due to a repeat offender? What would happen to the council who employ the lifeguards?
"H" has probably been saving lives on Bondi longer than those clowns have been alive.

I am on the side of the lifeguards, too many of the people they rescue from drowning think the whole thing is a JOKE! Once rescued the people involved should be given a warning that if they go back into the area they have been told to stay away from them the police will be called and they will be BANNED FRIM TGE BEACH FOR 7 DAYS

People are alive today and it is not because H is a lifeguard.
I know hoppo feels H isn’t being professional all The time but I think the times he’s gone off on some of these imbeciles- it’s completely warranted. I only feel bad that HE feels so bad over being regretful of his treatment to them.
