      That's a name you're calling by someone. It's a proper name in this context.

      You can read a book, not a subject. Subjects don’t have a physical existence.

      You can't see dance. You can see a body part moving, but not dance. It's a term, not a physical thing.

      It's a name of an activity. You can't touch an activity. It's an abstract noun.
