- Our Humble presentation on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri. A challenging and wonderful choreography by Guru Dr. Asha Nair.
This beautiful song in our mother tongue Kannada, is a Keertana by the renowned poet saint (known as the father of Carnatic music) Purandara Dasa. This is one of his few compositions on Shankara/ Shiva.Being an avid worshipper of Vittala (Krishna), he has beautifully linked here the two supreme dieties, Krishna and Rudra. Subtitles added for better understanding of the beautiful literature. Hope you all enjoy this. May Lord Shiva's blessings be on all of us!
