"highlight artistic integrity" - you are a great artist, but please stop talking meaningless nonsense. It's actually cringey.
Artistic integrity is important
@@TiaMcGregor Define the term if it's supposedly so meaningful to you!
for me artistic integrity is putting identity into your work. In a society where art and music is so monetized more times than others the true feelings/experiences/creativity of the artist is removed or watered down to accommodate the corporations and the masses. Creatives fight to put their life experiences and passions into their work but monetary success is prioritized over truth more often than not. Here the conversation is brought back to truth and passion seeing as though no corporate entities are involved and this is conversation is soley to benefit the artist.
@@b.b.2126 I like the answer, even though I don't see many artists having "artistic integrity" if we would apply your definition. Most commercial artists deliberately make music that they think would be successful (at least among their specific constituency / scene / genre). If you are an artist and create something, that expresses your feelings and desires, but it's not formatted in a way that suits the expectations and conditioning of the audience, you most likely will not get very far.
So, it's either "artistic integrity" or "commercial success" 9 times out of 10 (some artists strike a good balance between the two though), Bibi being one of them.
@@katastrophe7022 i just commented to support Bibi. I'm not interested in having a conversation about artistic integrity (something very important to me and many artists) with someone who leaves rude comments about it being "meaningless nonsense" and "cringy".
Just didnt want to be a bystander. Doing my part to end cyber-bullying 😊
We love you Bibi thanks for valuing integrity and being amazing!
