- In this video I am going to talk about 5 things I wish I knew as a beginner clothes customizer.
7 years ago I started to paint on clothes and as a beginner, I didn't know how to paint and what to paint. And back then it was so hard to find information on how to paint on clothes and it was hard to find other artists who were also customizing clothes .So lack of knowledge and inspiration was really a challenge as I made a lot of mistakes and couldn't move forward. So in this video I want to talk about the most important things I wish somebody told me or showed me, so I could grow easier and faster as a clothes customizer.

Just wanted to say that I found your channel very recently and it's amazing. Hi just found your channel and I'll watch more videos, so maybe some of them answer my question but I'll ask anyway: can you do sort of a sketch before painting? Something that you can wash off and the paint will stay?
You can use tailor chalk. Or soap on black fabric. Or sometimes I use pencil
Do you have a video explaining how to trace designs on the garment before painting?
The problem was always trying to find denim jackets to buy of good size .... or quality
Search for vintage denim jackets. Most of them are very good quality affordable and sustainable:)
Hi! Thank you for your great videos! I have a question. If I have two different brands of fabric paints can I mix them together to get shades I like? Can i mix transparent and opaque to get semi transparent? Thank you!
you can mix paints of one brand. İf you want to mix paints of different brands better try first on some piece of fabric then wash to see if there are any problems

Thank you! I use mostly round brush of size 7 and size 2 (for small details and lines). Also I use flat brush size 10 for background. Also I have flat brush size 6 sometimes I use it too

What supplies are you using for example the spray paint and how you transfer it what paper are you using ? I se two kinds a black one and white one

Love it ! So so inspirational. Upcycled all my bleached t shirts yesterday 😊( with hairdressing I have thrown away dozens of bleached tops)

No I don't. As dryer may cause cracks. Or if you want to use dryer choose delicate cycle

Yes its possible:) And I am planning to make a video and paint swimwear, but in summer ) And yes I have an idea where to buy basic clothes because I also live in Turkey 😁 Good quality basic tshirts you cam find in Mavi, basic hoodies for winter (black color) - Bant giyim . Basic hoodies for spring - Iamnotbasic. Also sometimes I buy sweatshirts by the brand Addax.

I love your work, it is great. Just one question, what is that spray that you are using in this video?
Its a Marabu Textile spray paint. But I will make a video soon where I will talk about spay paints for fabric. I will name there other brands
U dont use the primer to protect and fix the colors?
No need. I fix paints with iron
