Granted the cz75 will always be my favorite gun to shoot the sig would be my choice if it was an actual fight.
My first gun was a Ruger P95. The Sig P226 is a vastly superior gun in every way possible. Possible they put the wrong height sights on your pistol from the factory but I’d have to shoot it myself to believe it was that far off.
It’s a 226 legion. I happen to own several SIG’s including 2 legion series. 226 legion and 320x legion. The issue I can assure you is not the gun. A legion series pistol as stated in earlier comment is a vastly superior firearm in every way.
It's called 'height over bore" -- and every firearm has that issue, depending on what range you are shooting at-- and what the gun is sighted in for. Sig has different sets of sights at different heights ( I think they are even color coded). And that sets your zero at a different distance. Some people like to have their zero at 10 yards. Some people zero it at 25, 50 or even 100 yards. If it's zeroed for 50 yards, and you're only shooting it at 7 or 10 yards away, then YES it will be landing several inches HIGH.. Just like if you take an AR that is zeroed at 100 yards and shoot it at 7 yards, your shots will land several inches LOW- because your sight's "height over bore". Most companies don't offer different zero's- sights on pistols; so you won't normally have this issue. But SIG does offer them, so you just have to know what is actually installed. Even with Glocks, you can get into different height sights/ suppressor height sights, lower 1/3 co-witness sights, etc. but they all typically have the same zero for the most part (which is typically 33 yards as a standard on most pistols I believe).... The point is, IT'S A FEATURE. Your Sig is zeroed to hit the targe at much farther range, and you have an "under hold" when up close. Look up videos about Sigs sights and you'll find plenty of videos on the subject.

They fixed the triggers on the 320s departments have basically refused to send in old 320 models for the free trigger replacement. Not sure what rock you live under.
Sounds like user error. Sights would have to be on crooked for it to shoot THAT much off at 10yards. Hell, even with no sights at all you should be shooting 3 inch groups at 10 yards.
BTW, Sig always blames the shooter if you complain the sights are off. They just throw excuses up and call it a combat zero. ‘You have to cover the target with the sights’, yeah well I like to see what I’m shooting at.
You may have got a lemon, but that is the exception rather than the rule, although I think one would do well to forego the Legion version and just get the standard P226.
Those old school Ruger are very accurate the only thing is you can't beat them up to much or they tend to give up the ghost 😞. I still like the sig 220 had 2 of them a few years back great guns elite and regular.
So let's get this straight. First range trip both windage and elevation were off. Went home fixed the windage, went back to the range and shocked to find the elevation was still off??! Did you expect it to just get better on its own? BTW, adjust your sights AT THE RANGE. Works better that way.

I can hit a clay pigeon at 100 yards with my p89, love the thing , plus it feels natural to aim, I can draw and point without aiming and be close if not dead on target .... Want to get night sights for it , but I'm afraid to mess with it XD
@@mikebarker2276shit, with a handgun at a hundred yards even with it propped up he probably hit it once out of 100 rounds but that’s all it takes to say you can hit something at that distance.

Got mine from my father because when he tried to sell it they wanted 125 as the price so I got it lol
I have the same gun. Never any problem
Well , it is a ruger . Nuff said .
Call sig. Probably had wrong sights installed at factory. This happened to me with a ruger once. Since I modified front sight before calling I had to pay for sight replacement. Would have been free had I not messed with it
I already started looking for a replacement. $1,300 guns should be right and zeroed out of the box. My other legions are. Buying a hi point instead
@TheJimminiShow yes they should be, but a human installed those sights and if he grabbed wrong part or wrong spec was shipped it happens. Not sticking up for sig, I don't own one and never have. I'm a smith and ruger guy myself after my gen4 glock failed miserably and often. It happens though.

Sorry to hear you had such trouble. I have owned many Sigs in various models and calibers. Every one a tack driver with no malfunctions. My 13 year old P220ST .45 cal shoots holes through holes. It's a user problem. Most guns are manufactured accurate. It all dependent on user grip, sight acquisition...many factors too many to list.
Or it could be the gun.
Sounds like a personal issue. I never had one single issue with a sig
Nothing is wrong with the sights you just can't shoot worth a crap.

The mating call of Taurus and Ruger owners...
The holes agree
No, it's better. I have a Ruger security six 357 stainless, two Taurus model 83 38 revolvers also in stainless, a Taurus 24/7 LSDS in 9 mm, a Taurus PT845... Obviously chambered in 45 caliber ACP, a high point c9, and an SKS. And they all shoot spectacularly. I know some people have had bad experiences with Taurus, but I also have read many many posts regarding unfixable Smith and Wesson's that wouldn't shoot properly out of the box, and even the factory couldn't get them to shoot right. So go spend your $1,400 on your Sig... Or, if you don't value your money, you could just give it to me to buy more Tauruses and Rugers!

The Ruger P series were built like tanks, a little on the ugly side but dependable and extremely accurate. Great firearm.
My first gun was a Ruger P95. The Sig P226 is a vastly superior gun in every way possible. Possible they put the wrong height sights on your pistol from the factory but I’d have to shoot it myself to believe it was that far off.
That is not a p226 it’s a legion
It’s a 226 legion. I happen to own several SIG’s including 2 legion series. 226 legion and 320x legion. The issue I can assure you is not the gun. A legion series pistol as stated in earlier comment is a vastly superior firearm in every way.
@@gorlab9549 Haha Sig makes Legion variants of the 220, 226, and 229.
Just change the height of the Sig sights to match your desired sight picture and POA/POI
