In this day in age these teachings and traditions that we hold sacred to our hearts is what drives us in this poisonous world of colonization. To be born a Dine' woman, a woman of melanin I know we have the power to change our world.
My Grandma-ma used to warn us not to lose our culture. I fear we have cuz none of speak Diné bizaad. We're all scattered to Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, California, Utah, and Colorado. I miss Shii masanii very much!!!
She didn't expose anything! All she did was make corn mush which they sell at all trading post already pre-made lol this was actually a really great video. By the way i'm a full Navajo woman.
its important other peoples know youre socio- cultural ordeal. watch>>"EL BAHDJA MARRAKECH 2010.AMAZIGH WOMEN.OULED AND BNAT BLADI.MOORISH LAND "................tell the Amazigh everything !
sigh. ur way of thinking would destroy the native culture and make traditions die out faster. this way people of native blood and other non natives can learn a lil something and keep it going or at the very least leave this for posterity sake. Natives assimilate to the western european ways but u cant even bother to try and spread native traditions and have them assimilate and learn from the natives.

That gramma can't tie a Navajo hair bun
It's not right to say that. Negative comments shouldn't be allowed. Both my kids grandparents are gone. It's a shame when people judge.
