When one looks at the overwhelming 'Igboid' cultural makeup of Bonny more so than Opobo people, everything makes sense about the 'Ndi Ubani' that was corrupted to be 'Igbani'. It's in their language, their music, their Ekpe, their Nwa Otam, their Ikoro and other cultural festivities. No question that 'Ijaw' had a presence in Bonny, the Igbo relevance and influence that King Jaja, Oko Jumbo, the Urantas and many other 'Umu Ubani' houses brought to bear on the island consumed everything else to date. Like Opobo, the 'Aro' dialect of Igbo is the language of both islands all the way into Ohambele, Ndoki of Rivers and Abia and fringes of other Ukwa enclaves. The evidences are so irrefutable for this people to continue to parade their indoctrinated lie against the stack of evidences.

The Bini's know d truth. Just that they accepted the lies from these southsouth Igbo tribes so that their (Bini) subjects will become larger. I have spoken to a Benin prince about it during my UNIBEN days and he told me d truth.
