    is this pedal usable without programming all the presets and such? can you set it and forget it, maybe tweak a knob in the middle of a jam here and there and call it a day?

    What I heard so far was stellar. I preordered. Does it sound more analog and real-deal than the gen loss card? I was returning the arcades since it sounded too digital for me. excited to hear the GL2 in a few hours all over the place

    Can the arcades pull off the same tricks/features with the gen loss card? I just got it and it’s amazing but I still have more to learn

    • @DevonBlueWhitaker
      @DevonBlueWhitaker  3 роки тому +1

      For the most part yes. However, the depth of those effects seem greater on the regular gen loss. That said the arcades provides a completely different experience with controls that can be automated making it-its own thing.

    Awesome video. I'm not a fan of these companies now coordinating the demos for their release like this. I understand it is marketing101 but still...not saying anything bad against cooper fx though, they are the best in the business as far as i am concerned. You can tell customer service means alot to Tom.

    • @DevonBlueWhitaker
      @DevonBlueWhitaker  3 роки тому +3

      I hear that perspective a lot but as a small UA-cam channel these types of releases really help get my content out there. Especially if a larger channel is demoing it as well. Planned releases are great for builders but even better for small content creators such as myself. Not only is it marketing 101 but it’s important to understand how the algorithm lends its self to these types of releases specifically for smaller channels. The metrics on the back end don’t lie... if you wanna make a big splash then you gotta have everyone jump in the pool all at the same time. It helps the content get to you faster, helps the content be seen, and helps goods get sold. Maturation requires motion.

      @@DevonBlueWhitaker no doubtt understand where you are coming from for sure and definitely happy to see yall channel blow up, you have mad editing and filming skills, definitely deserve it, but on the other hand youtube was already really saturated with pedal demo channels, and quite frankly there are still great channels that aren't even getting a lick of notice by these companies. Again nothing against Cooper FX at all or most other companies but when it comes to brands like fender handing out free guitars to influencers or a select few of them, all it does is consolidate those who were lucky enough to get noticed by whatever company happened to check out their content, it's definitely a powerful advantage. But again i'm not trying to throw shade at you or any others, hope you can get what im trying to say.

    • @DevonBlueWhitaker
      @DevonBlueWhitaker  3 роки тому +2

      I get it. Still, eventually everyone is afforded an opportunity. For some of us it takes a while (like myself) and others it’s over night. It took a long time for me to get steady work and while I am grateful for every opportunity make no mistake the work I put into these videos don’t reflect the compensation I receive. I will however agree that when large companies use the mass roll out concept by way of influencers/ content creators it does poison the pool. If you can turn me on to any channels that you feel are deserving and are lacking attention or opportunities I’d like to follow them and give them a few shout outs. I think it’s conversations like this that help us all.
