So beautiful! I’m glad Jenn the Bead Widow is going to have her toe corrected. I vote yes to making your own clasps class. Be well, Queen Emma!

Beautiful work as always, Queen Emma. I so wish i could work with those tiny beads.
Hope Jen's toe issue is finally resolved next week.
My husband & I both have vehicles but he is only allowed to drive to work or the hardware store. No highway driving for him . He goes to sleep when driving on the highway, regardless of him being a passenger or the driver. It's been that way for more than 20 years. I have to drive wherever we go. I drove us 17 hours to Florida. My shoulders hurt after that long drive. 😊. Getting too old , now we take closer trips to surrounding states . We have developed a love for Michigan ❤
Hugs and well wishes for you and Jen

Our last long drive was 6 years ago to Toronto from Nova Scotia. We did well taking 3 hour shifts making sure the other one would 😴 sleep. We were so sick when we got there. When we slept it felt like the bed was vibrating 😵 We are too old for road trips anymore. I used to drive from Ontario to North Carolina in one shot. Hugs to you and your hubby 💞

Queen Emma - I ran across this video only to hear you say you had an emergency so this was #2. I do hope all ok with you, Jen and of course your Bead Buddy Jax. I watched this video then #1 and heard an ambulance out front. The 85yr old husband had fallen. It was a bit of a scare. His wife didn't call me, we're the same age (73), she knew I had a broken shoulder and shouldn't be pulling or lifting anything (or anyone), over 9 pounds. I feel guilty, such a nice couple. I love the smplicity of your clasp design plus the extra bling! It is perfection! But you seem to be running low on the rivoli beads - you might need to order 8 to 10 packets. They may cease producing them. Yes, that is how my brain works and I am happy to be your enabler - as if either of us needed an enabler!

Yes everything is fine. I should have said miner emergency 😜 You should see the amount of rivolis I have 😂 Hope you're on the mend. We went for a bike ride today. I did well considering my back, hand and heart. It was glorious 😁

I'm new to using the Miyuki Delica beads. I've had my thread randomly break every time. I keep having to restart my projects 😢. I've used a few different threads and keep having the same thing happen. Fire line 6 lbs, fire line 4 lbs, nimo threads , john bead thread. What should I do differently?

That's very strange Suzanne. I wonder if your delica beads are sharpe inside 🤔 Are they Miyuki brand? I've never had my thread break bezeling. It has broken weaving crystal bicones. All I did was ease up a bit on my tension and used a stronger thread. I hope you can solve this. Beading is supposed to be fun 🤓

@@BabySquirrelBeading Did she try waxing her thread....ask her that? Make sure she is using PURE beeswax or Thread Heaven. Toho Treasures can have sharp edges from their finishes....but I have never had thread breakage either with Delicas.

They are name brand Miyuki. It's definitely tension but the projects call for it. I've been trying the payote leaf earrings, so pretty. I thought it would be worth spending the money on the fire line thread. I'll try again. @@BabySquirrelBeading

@@suzannestack7784 ..... I personally haven't tackled bead-weaving "yet" but I designed and created elaborate beaded costumes for decades. Sometimes I would encounter issues with thread breakage and it truly impacted my productivity. Using the process of elimination I discovered some of my needles had burrs - often near the eye. I tried to file them smooth but that wasn't successful, silk and satin would snag on the rough areas. A tiny drop of clear nail polish was helpful but only temporarily. I invested in better needles. That was in the 1970s. Thankfully I never again experienced that issue. Just something to consider. I wish you much luck.

@@galady8632 thank you for your insight.
In this case my thread keeps breaking in the beads so I think some of my beads have sharp edges on the inside edge.
