- Part cluster of tricky enduro races, part four-day party, if you only get yourself to one event on the 2018 Hard Enduro calendar, make it the Erzbergrodeo. The jewel in the crown of the weekend's proceedings is the Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble (ERBHS), with 500 riders clawing their way out of the bottom of a quarry to try and conquer the Iron Mountain. But there's also the Iron Road Prologue, a hillclimb and the traditional ride into the town of Eisenerz to keep you busy.

Sir Graham Jarvis....Come on HRH get him knighted, OBE or something. One of the most succesfull British sportsmen. Jarvis will go down in the sport history books no matter what!!!!
Agree. England's spolit brats can't win something as relatively skill and fitness free as a football tournament (or pretty much any other sports tournament). Yet get tons of media coverage and cash. But Graham wins everything with sublime skill, and is the most enviable of perfect gentlemen, and gets relatively nothing. No wonder the human race is spiraling the plug-hole.

Great sportsmanship by Letty, he did the right thing, and Jarvis is an absolute beast!
The fact that Jarvis and Walker, got through the section themselves, shows they should've just ballsed it out though.
I'm sure this race must cause some kind of PTSD for the it's many victims.

Pretty sweet, but it makes me cringe. This course is the enduro equivalent of getting stuck in traffic, everyone is bogged down on hills
Not that enduro is a young man's sport by any means, but it is weird seeing the champs (in there 40's or older) all geared up in rock star badged jersies. Guess i am being a little ageist.
Charles Mattina some of the best riders I ride and race with are in their 40’s!

@@therealturdferguson8355 Totally, was talking about the rockstar energy drink stuff, not the riding. Riders IMO gets better with time, especially when there is so much skills involved, so oppose to sports that are pure athletic ability.

"GREEN HELL" Green Hell reminds me of riding in the mountains of British Columbia province of Vancouver. I lived in Mission, BC loved riding, but it sucked cause I always road "Solo" so you couldn't get nuts. My bike is 1998 RM 250 Suzuki screaming little bitch in heat. I had the head done so bigger piston bored out to a 265 12cc gain. With Boyesen Power Reeds, I still have the bike, haven't ridden for a couple of years. Sucks cause I'm in Ontario south end, and unless you want to have issues with cops, trying to fu** U up the *** [I'm 51 year old also in great shape, Gram I'd give you a fight, but this place is to far from where I live. I'd love to try this mountain.
Why is it? That Graham Jarvis, he's like in one video 41-years old. Winning this thing 3 to 4 times in a row. Like *** a walk in the park. And no one out of 500 other guys, can't win this fucken thing? Go Figure.... What a setup...

When Karl Katoch is designing the course every year his goal is to only have one person finish the race... 2015 when he introduced green hell was the closest he ever got to his goal, when 4 riders all helped each other up the hill and decided to cross the finish line together.
TheKtm300rider his goal is to have no riders finish it is what said in an interview several years ago.
