- Today, we invite you to meet Jeffco math teachers, Rachel Ullrich and Sarah Harmon, both of whom create a culture of instructional excellence in their classrooms. Hear directly from students how these teachers support and encourage them to think critically.
Illustrative Math provides students with opportunities for collaborative learning and problem-solving. Students engage in critical thinking, share strategies, and work together to tackle mathematical challenges. After individual or group exploration, they reconvene as a class to synthesize their collective learning under the guidance of their teacher. This process not only fosters deeper understanding of mathematical concepts but also promotes communication, teamwork, and a sense of community within the classroom.
