The entire scene of Moon's ranting, Sun's only comforting him with words and trying not to stay close, because he's scared Moon might hurt him, until the end, where Sun hugs Moon and comforts him because he realizes Moon's too distraught to hurt him, and that he's not the Old Moon.

Again, Moon is selling himself way short on his childcare abilities.
His breakdown was sad, but i am glad Sun immediately tried to comfort him and took steps to ensure his safety--like removing the bottles from his vicinity--and then tried to give him healthier distractions. And i am glad Moon immediately dismissed the idea of sacrificing himself the way the old him did for KC.
Sun carrying him to bed after he presumably cried himself to sleep was also weirdly sweet. These two are such good brothers.
Gregory should bring the afton kids back again I know they are dead but moon seemed to enjoy talking to them and they always know how to make others feel better when they are down

Oh dear.. the amount of stress this guy is going through.. He lost his family, having to deal with being compared with his old self, and bringing solar back. They need a break.
Had a feeling moon would of. He was so focused on getting solar back that he was mentally hurting himself. But him screaming "I WANT MY BROTHER!" And sun going dead silent? It hits different.
Also, remember when moon said "I DONT CARE IF THERES A METHOD, I DONT WANNA LOSE MY BROTHER!!"?

I'm kinda speechless at this whole episode. EC's performance is indeed 'epic' as well as heartwrenching. "I miss my brother!" reminds me of when Moon said, "I don't want to lose my brother!"
Davis as Sun, having no idea what to do except hug his brother, feels all to real to my own experience with loss.
And it turns out that Moon figures out what a lot of us did. You need a life for a life. (I am all for Bloodmoon being the sacrifice. Dude wants to die, which is so messed up, but he is an unrepenting serial killer.)
But then Eclipse reveals that you don't! And it involves... using his current body. The one Evil Sun implanted something into.
I don't doubt that Eclipse is right, but you just know this is gonna screw someone over.

Yay Eclipse is back and has confirmed he’s trying to bring Solar back!! Seems like his plan might be the only one that works whatever his plan is. Pretty sure since they said that the person would die forever the story isn’t gonna have Sun sacrifice himself for Moons plan because you know he’s a main character. Also smart thinking by Eclipse to jump ship to a new body to avoid whatever Dark Sun put in his head although I’m nervous that he didn’t tell Moon about the Dark Sun interaction.
Edit: I just realized Eclipse said he had a dimension in mind. Is he going to try and kill Dark Sun/his pocket dimension to bring Solar back?

I knew Moon would break down.. Knowing How his reaction was towards Solar, i mean, sun would be seen as the first one.. but it just felt like moon would first and now here we are ..
This episode proves that Solar clearly meant a lot to Moon, considering the fact that until this video, neither the Old Moon or the New Moon had cried once in their lives. Moon crying today proves Solar meant a lot to him, now I wonder how he'll react to Sun's death(if it ever happens).

With how long Eclipse was with Evil Sun, I can't help but worry that he was being tortured the entire time. (if how he limps and the grunts of pain is anything to go by.) he didn't deserve that.
HOLY HELL- That was heavy- like DRAMATICALLY HEAVY LORE- Now what did Dark Sun tell Eclipse is what we need to know- HOW DOES HE PLAN TO BRING SOLAR BACK-?
Moon...oh sweetheart "hugs" I would think that Solar thinks of you as a brother Moon. Also when Moon broke, my heart was shattered hearing his sobs. This episode was heartbreaking
Okay- that hurt-
I feel like Moon needs more hobbies. Basing yourself off of one thing only is always going to make you feel terrible about yourself. The second you mess up that one thing, it destroys your self worth completely, which is what’s happening to him. Not only that, but it would give him something to do with his life AND probably a break… although that does raise the question of whether or not that would cause him to do it excessively as the celestial family’s coping mechanisms suck.
Also, this entire sequence proves more of my point that New Moon at least is definitely a younger twin to Sun… and probably just overall a younger one to Solar. But then again, I’m pretty certain everyone in the family thinks that about Solar tbh-
Suns the more responsible one in the group. Ironically. He takes care of his siblings and is there when someone needs a shoulder to cry on. This is an older sibling behavior. Not to say it can ALWAYS be healthy… and in Suns case, since he may be pushing down emotions, it’s probably not, but it’s something he does nonetheless. Also, not only that but New Moons introduction into the world is TECHNICALLY very recent… so it would make sense if he exhibited younger sibling behaviors.
Examples(idk how to word this, so here are times where this headcanon would be accurate):
When interacting at home, and Sun yells at Moon when he catches him eating chips before dinner, that is a very common behavior when it comes to older and younger family members. Earth is normalized to this. She’s probably seen this happen plenty of times before.
Moons utter boredom when Sun starts talking about the history of gravel that basically tells the audience that this has happened plenty of times before. Although I dont blame him tbh, especially since he has ADHD and gravel isnt exactly the moat interesting topic.
Outside of these examples and to the present episode, Moon also seems to be very self concious of not only the idea of losing the again probably oldest brotherly figure he has, but also the idea of letting the rest of his family down and not living up to any of them. Theyre not even big things he mentions, theyre little things no one wouldve thought to compare his skills to that he somehow happened to notice, like taking care of kids, cooking, being a good brother... stuff that his twin IS good at.
Hes also not good with emotions, which while its not something explicitly stated, he probably compares himself to Earth in that regard as well.
Soooo yeah- there's a headcanon for you! Although i suppose that kinda makes this entire episode worse- New Moon was just kinda thrown into all the drama immediately upon entering the world. Immediately having to not only deal with people expecting you to live up to some insanely smart guy who was apparently terrible to the one person you love most, but also deal with the weight of ALL the problems dumped on your shoulder because the other you caused everything. Now think about the fact that not only have you failed to fix everything... but lost one of the closest people to you and are expected to fix THAT... but you cant. You just, cant.
Now imagine youre technically the younger sibling, and its so much worse!!😭😭

Can’t say I blame him, though. He’s been holding in *a lot* of pressure and drama lately, and it seemed that Solar being erased was the last straw.
Poor Moon….i get how difficult it is. I’m just so glad that Sun is there for him. I love the two’s relationship. Even though they lost one brother, they still always have each other, and that’s one thing I absolutely love about this show. Bravo to the creators!
And hopefully things will lighten up with the Celestial Family😢 it’s heartbreaking seeing them like this
For the first time in a while, I’m really glad that Eclipse is around for this because unlike the others, he didn’t have a personal attachment to Solar and can look at the situation objectively.
And Sun kneeling with Moon to comfort him when he started crying - my heart 💔 Sun’s always so soft with his siblings 💛
That was one of the most emotional episodes I have seen since losing Solar. Moons breakdown was way over due since losing him and going through his Trauma with his past self.
I am still being extremely hopefully that Solar will make it back one way or another, but there is always that posibility he wont. Cried alot for this one. Sending so much love and hugs Moon x cast, dont give up.
Hope they get to do that brother therapy session with Earth and maybe Lunar soon, Moon needs it more than anyone right now. They should do that as a family group session x

ok I must say, this hurt me too much and I knew that one day this would happen, it is the first time I have seen Moon cry on the entire channel, I mean when Solar left he seemed hurt but he didn't seem to be crying, but here Moon did let it all out what he had inside, I know that he tried too hard to bring Solar back but I don't know what to accept or maintain the hope of bringing Solar back, it's all very complicated to think about, it would be good for Sun to stay with moon more time because he is going to need it

After that last scene with Eclipse, I think that there's still hope, a tiny spark of hope.

moon doesn't need to shoulder everything himself but he does sometimes which leads to cracks and those cracks get to big they break the structure seeing that structure break makes me sad but knowing that his family is there to help him repair the cracks and breaks does make me feel better and whether they know it or not eclipse seems to slowly but surely help repair as well

Oh Moon...he's been trying to hold it together for so long and honestly that answer would have broken anyone but it was final straw in Moons case. God, when he started just sobbing and yelled 'I miss my brother' that almost got me, good on Sun for being there to comfort him. Ahh the thumbnail hurt my heart when I saw it pop up but something about the cats joining the comforting even though they don't like Moon too much is so cute.
Also good grief Eclipse really knows how to make a freakin' entrance, also wish he'd stop trying to be so mysterious and just get to the point xD but I guess he thrives on winding people up...however, I think I might have idea on what he''s gettting at with his plan.

"Its something you wouldnt even understand how it would feel." But he does, moon. He has been throwing himself away, eating at his one sanity at this point, just to bring Solar back. Just like you have been doing. Exept he had to go through physical pain, not just mental. He understands more than you think moon. I think at this point he understands a lot.
what moon means is that eclipse doesn't have any kind of attachment to solar, he haven't experienced attachment to someone as moon does, he's not grieving, he's not sad about solar dying, thus he CAN'T understand the emotional pain Moon is going through, is not the same
if he really understood that, he wouldn't be mocking moon for "still mourning the death of his cousin"
@@deyisacherry tru, im just thinking, I don't think eclipse can even feel emotional pain if he wanted to. He was made as moons more "evil" side and the clone is made as a distraction so he is still unable to feel emotional pain, though that part of him is starting to break due to either his purpose being fulfilled or just him actually starting to feel a bit bad or both. Though yes he didn't have any emotional attachment to solar, I think him throwing himself away for that is kinda wholesome and sad at the same time- though yes you are not wrong.
